Description

WATER SEAL STRUCTURE AND WASHING APPARATUS USING THE SAME
FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present utility model relates to a water seal structure used in a washing machine or a washing/drying machine and a washing apparatus using the same structure; particularly, relates to a structure for providing a unidirectional detergent flow supplied by a detergent supplying device so as to avoid that the fluid in a washing tank flows into the detergent supplying device in the period of washing or drying.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
As everyone knows, in the current marketplace, the most of washing machines or washing/drying machines perform washing and drying to the clothing inside the washing tank through steps of washing, rinsing, dehydrating, and heat-drying.
In order to efficiently control the amount of the detergent usage and to be easy for the user to add the detergent, a detergent supplying device is commonly applied to various washing machines or washing/drying machines. Also, it is needed to dispose a water pipe for leading a detergent fluid (a mixture fluid of detergent and water) into the washing tank of a washing machine or a washing/drying machine. However, in the duration of washing, a mass of detergent foam is normally produced in the washing tank and such the detergent foam inevitably flows back to the detergent supplying device via the water pipe. A long-term accumulation of the foam usually results in corrosion to the detergent supplying device and other related parts.
Additionally, in the step of drying of a washing/drying machine, a mass of high-temperature mist also occurs in the washing tank, which simultaneously flows back to the detergent supplying device via the water pipe and thus corrodes the detergent supplying device or causes corrosion and oxidation to other adjacent parts.
To solve the above problems, Germany Patent No. DE 1610199 has provided a blocking structure that blocks the outlet of a detergent supplying device by gravity effect, but this structure is restricted to be used since the outlet of the detergent supplying device is disposed horizontally. If the outlet of the detergent supplying device is disposed vertically, the blocking structure provided by that patent will always be retained in an open state due to the gravity effect, and thus cannot block the outlet of the detergent supplying device. Therefore, the problem that detergent fluid or mist will flow back to the detergent supplying device is still inevitable.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
Therefore, in order to solve the above problem that the detergent fluid and the mist flow back into the detergent supplying device if the outlet of the detergent supplying device is disposed vertically. One of the objects of the present utility model is to provide a water seal structure used in a detergent supplying device. The structure is capable of controlling the detergent fluid provided by the detergent supplying device one-way flowing from a water pipe to a washing tank, and upon the elasticity itself, seals the outlet of the detergent supplying device while no water lashing so as to efficaciously avoid a backflow of the detergent fluid or mist into the detergent supplying device.
Another object of the present utility model is to a washing apparatus using a water seal structure. The washing apparatus comprises a detergent supplying device, a water pipe connecting to an outlet of the detergent supplying device, and a washing tank linking to the water pipe. The water seal structure is disposed within the outlet of the detergent supplying device, and control the detergent fluid one-way flowing from the detergent supplying device to the water pipe.
According to the present utility model, the above object is implemented through a water seal structure used in a detergent supplying device, and the water seal structure comprises a water seal consisting of a taper tube and integral gates disposed in an outlet end of the tube and the tube being connected within the outlet of the detergent supplying device, wherein the gates are opened by the water flow from the detergent supplying device and seal the outlet end while no water flowing.
Preferably, the gates are disposed equally and remain a certain chink between two sealing gates wherein the opposite gates form a "V" shape such that the detergent fluid is allowed to flow to the water pipe and then into the washing tank even a small amount for avoiding remains of the detergent fluid within the detergent supplying device or the tube of the water seal. In addition, preferably, the water seal structure further comprises a supporting ring for supporting the water seal tube. The supporting ring is blocked on a convex flat formed by the tube being caved inwardly along its peripheral and thereby the tube of the water seal is fixed in the outlet of the detergent supplying device.
Preferably, a crisscross prop is disposed inside the supporting ring for enhancing the strength of the supporting ring wherein the supporting ring is made of plastic material.
More preferable, the water seal is made of rubber material with high-elasticity.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWING
The following is a further description to the present utility model in view of the figure and the embodiment.
Figure 1 is a sectional drawing of a water seal structure according to the embodiment of the present utility model.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
As shown in Figure 1 , a detergent supplying device used in a washing machine or washing/drying machine that has several cavities (not shown) for containing various detergents and an outlet 10 for supplying a detergent fluid (the mixture of detergent and water and the water for soak and rinse) to a washing tank (not shown) of a washing machine or a washing/drying machine via a water pipe 6.
According to the present utility model, the water seal structure 2 of the embodiment is disposed in the outlet 10 of the detergent supplying device 1 for controlling the detergent fluid one-way flowing wherein the outlet 10 is disposed in a vertical direction. The water seal structure 2 comprises a water seal 3 that includes a tube 20 and a gates 22 capable of sealing an outlet end 21 of the tube, and the tube 20, along an erect direction, has a certain slope so as to cooperate with the outlet 10 of the detergent supplying device 1 and thereby ensures that the water seal 3 tightly couples with the outlet 10 to avoid the water seal 3 detaching from the outlet 10. The gates 22 of the water seal 3 are averagely disposed on a circumference surface of the outlet end 21 of the tube 20, and can be arranged as two gates opening from opposite directions, or be arranged as three gates, four gates, or several gates that open from opposite directions, which are integrally made of rubber material with high-elasticity as well as the tube 20. While the detergent fluid flows from the outlet 10 of the detergent supplying device 1 , due to the lashing brought by the water flow, the gates 22 of the water seal 22 are opened and then the detergent fluid is permitted to flow into the water pipe 6 through the water seal 3. Further, the detergent fluid is supplying to a washing tank of a washing machine or a washing/drying machine via the water pipe 6, and then a washing to the clothing is done through operations of the washing machine or the washing/drying machine.
After the detergent fluid supplying is completed, the gates 22 of the water seal 3 returns to its original position upon the elasticity itself and thereby seal the outlet end 21 of the water seal 3. While sealing, a certain chink is retained between two sealing gates and the opposite gates form a "V" shape such that it efficaciously ensures that even a small amount of the detergent fluid, it may flow into the water pipe 6 through the chink so as to avoid remains of the detergent fluid in the water seal 3.
Preferably, the water seal structure 2 comprises a supporting ring 4 for further fixing the water seal 3. The tube 20 of the water seal 3 is caved inwardly along its peripheral to form a convex flat 23, and then the supporting ring 4 is blocked on the convex flat 23 such that the supporting ring 4 fix the water seal 3 in the outlet 10 of the detergent supplying device 1. The supporting ring 4 is made of plastic material and includes a crisscross prop 5 for further enhancing the strength of the supporting ring 4. Of course, the supporting ring 4 can be a closed supporting ring or a semi-closed supporting ring, and the prop 5 can also be a prop in any other formats.
An operation to the above structure of the embodiment of the present utility model will be described as followings.
The user puts the clothing to be washed into a rotating cylinder (not shown) of the washing tank, and then fits the detergent into the cavity (not shown) of the detergent supplying device 1. While supplying water, water and the detergent in the detergent supplying device 1 are mixed and then through the outlet 10 of the detergent supplying device 1 supplied to the washing tank via the water pipe 6. At this time, by the lashing force of the detergent fluid, the originally sealed gates in the outlet end 21 of the water seal structure are opened. After water supplying completed, the gates 22 return to its originally sealed position by the elasticity itself so as to seal the outlet end 21 of the water seal structure 2.
Afterward, in the period of washing, rapidly rotating cylinder produces a mass of foam and most of the foam will be directly drained out through a drainage (not shown) of the washing machine or the washing/drying machine. However, a certain mount of the foam still will be pushed back from the rapidly rotating cylinder to the water pipe 6. Since, at this time, the outlet end 21 of the water seal structure 2 is sealed by the gates 22, the foam is incapable of returning to the detergent supplying device 1 , and thereby a damage caused by a backflow of the detergent fluid to the detergent supplying device 1 or other nearby parts can be efficaciously avoided.
In addition, during drying process, a mass of the high-temperature mist occurred in the washing tank also cannot run back to the detergent supplying device 1 due to the seal of the outlet end 21. Even though a small amount of the mist that passes though the chink between the gates 22 and then consequently enters into the detergent supplying device 1 , affection to the detergent supplying device 1 can be ignored. Therefore, similarly, it can be avoided that the high-temperature mist occurred during the drying process of the washing/drying machine oxidizes and corrodes the detergent supplying device 1.
