Best Mode for Carrying Out the Invention
[49] (First Embodiment)
[50] Hereinafter, a bidet having a water purifier according to the preferred embodiment of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.
[51] Referring to FIGS. 1 and 2, the bidet having the water purifier according to the present invention is provided with an inlet hose 10 for introducing washing water into the bidet. The inlet hose 10 is made of flexible material, for example, synthetic resin or rubber, and is coupled to a coupling hose of a water pipe (not shown) or a shower device to introduce tap water, that is, washing water.
[52] Further, the bidet of the present invention is provided with a water purifier 20 which is connected to the inlet hose 10. The water purifier 20 has a purifier housing 22, with a purifying chamber 24 defined in the purifier housing 22. The purifying chamber 24 includes an inlet 24a which communicates with the inlet hose 10, and an outlet 24b which discharges the introduced washing water. Filtering elements 25 are accommodated in the purifying chamber 24.
[53] Since the inlet 24a communicates with the inlet hose 10, washing water that flows in the inlet hose 10 is introduced into the purifying chamber 24. Here, a check valve 26 is mounted to the inlet 24a.
[54] As shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, the check valve 26 includes a valve body 27 and a flexible valve flap 28. The valve body 27 is installed at the inlet 24a, and has a valve hole 27a. The valve flap 28 is installed to the valve body 27 such that the valve flap opens the valve hole 27a when washing water is introduced into the inlet 24a, and prevents washing water from flowing back from the purifying chamber 24 into the inlet hose 10. In detail, the flexible valve flap 28 is a thin plate which is made of an elastic material so that the flap is freely bendable. The valve flap is secured to the outer surface of the valve body 27, and closes the valve hole 27a using the elasticity of the valve flap.
[55] Meanwhile, a cover 29 having a screening net 29a is mounted to an open upper portion of the valve body 27. The cover 29 having the screening net 29a prevents the filtering elements 5 in the purifying chamber 24 from entering the valve body 27.
[56] As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the outlet 24b is used to discharge washing water from the inlet 24a and the purifying chamber 24. A post-processing filter 30 is mounted to a position around the outlet 24b. The post-processing filter 30 secondarily purifies washing water which has passed through the filtering elements 25 in the purifying chamber 24.
[57] The filtering elements 25 comprise "nano silver ceramic balls" coated with silver or a similar substance, and filter washing water passing through the purifying chamber 24, thus providing very clean washing water. According to this embodiment, the "nano silver ceramic balls" are used as the filtering elements 25. However, the filtering elements are not limited to the nano silver ceramic balls. Any material may be used as the filtering elements, as long as the material, for example, activated carbon, purifies washing water.
[58] Turning back to FIGS. 1 and 2, the bidet of the invention is provided with a head 40 which is fastened to the upper portion of the water purifier 20. The head 40 has a head body 42. The head body 42 is detachably coupled to the water purifier 20 via a coupling means.
[59] The coupling means includes a locking protrusion 44 which is provided on the upper surface of the water purifier 20. An opening is formed in the head body to receive the locking protrusion 44. Further, protrusion seats 45 are provided in the head body 42, so that the locking protrusion 44 passing through the opening is rotated and locked at both sides thereof to the locking seats 45. An internal thread and an external thread may be used as the coupling means.
[60] Further, an outlet port 46 is formed in the head body 42 such that it faces forwards.
A bidet nozzle 50 is coupled to the outlet port 46.
[61] The outlet port 46 is coupled to the outlet 24b of the water purifier 20 via a coupling hose 46a. Thus, washing water passing through the water purifier 20 is discharged through the outlet port to the outside. In this case, when the head 40 is separated from the water purifier 20, the coupling hose 46a is separated from the outlet 24b of the water purifier 20. Further, when the head 40 is coupled to the water purifier 20, the coupling hose is coupled to the outlet 24b of the water purifier 20.
[62] The bidet nozzle 50 includes a nozzle body 52 which is coupled to the outlet port 46 of the head body 42, and an antibacterial silicone hose 54 which is fitted into the nozzle body 52.
[63] The nozzle body 52, having the shape of a cap, has a through hole 52a, and is detachably fastened to the head body 42. In this case, the nozzle body 52 is fastened to the front of the head body 42 via a fastening means. The fastening means includes coupling holes 55 which are formed in the circumference of the front of the head body 42, and coupling protrusions 56 which are provided in the nozzle body 52 in such a way as to be detachably fitted into the corresponding coupling holes 55. Meanwhile, an internal thread and an external thread may be used as the fastening means.
[64] The antibacterial silicone hose 54 passes through the through hole 52a of the nozzle body 52 and extends forwards so that it is long. The antibacterial silicone hose may be flexible, with a passage 54a defined in the antibacterial silicone hose and communicating with the outlet port 46. A nozzle head 54b having nozzle holes 54c is provided on the front portion of the antibacterial silicone hose. Preferably, the nozzle head 54b has a conical shape. Meanwhile, a locking member 57 is inserted into the rear end of the antibacterial silicone hose 54, and a compression ring 58 is fitted over the locking member 57.
[65] Such an antibacterial silicone hose 54 extends forwards from the nozzle body 52 and is inserted into a user's bowels or vagina. Further, washing water discharged from the outlet port 46 of the head 40 is sprayed into the bowels or vagina, thus washing the bowels or vagina.
[66] Turning back to FIGS. 1 and 2, the bidet of the invention is provided with a middle bidet nozzle 60, which is installed between the outlet port 46 of the head 40 and the bidet nozzle 50.
[67] The middle bidet nozzle 60 is mounted to the open front of the head body 42, and is provided with a chevron nozzle hole 62. When the bidet nozzle 50 is separated from the head 40, the middle bidet nozzle 60 sprays washing water from the outlet port 46 to a user's anal area and vagina, thus cleaning the user's anal area and vagina.
[68] FIG. 4 is a view showing the middle bidet nozzle 60. The middle bidet nozzle 60 is provided with an intermittent spraying means which controls the flow of washing water so that the washing water is intermittently sprayed from the chevron nozzle hole 62.
[69] The intermittent spraying means includes a valve body 64 and a spring 66. The valve body 64 is installed in the middle bidet nozzle 60 to close the chevron nozzle hole 62. The spring 66 elastically biases the valve body 64 in the direction in which the chevron nozzle hole 62 is opened.
[70] The valve body 64 closes the chevron nozzle hole 62 while it is moved by the pressure of washing water discharged from the outlet port 46 of the head 40. In other words, the valve body intercepts the flow of washing water to the chevron nozzle hole 62, thus preventing washing water from being sprayed. Here, the back surface of the valve body 64, on which the pressure of washing water acts, has a convex curved surface.
[71] The spring 66 is compressed by the valve body 64, on which the pressure of washing water acts. When the pressure reaches a predetermined pressure level, the spring momentarily extends, so that the valve body 64 is spaced apart from the nozzle hole 62. Thereby, the nozzle hole 62 is opened, so that washing water can be sprayed through the chevron nozzle hole 62. Meanwhile, the extending spring 66 is compressed again by the valve body 64, which is subjected to the pressure of washing water, so that the valve body 64 closes the nozzle hole 62 again.
[72] Such an intermittent spraying means intermittently sprays washing water, thus providing a massage effect to the anal area, in addition to increasing the ability to clean the anal area.
[73] Further, referring to FIGS. 2 and 5, the bidet of the invention is provided with a control valve 70, which controls the flow of washing water to be supplied to the outlet port 46 of the head 40 and regulates the pressure of washing water.
[74] The control valve 70 is installed in the purifying chamber 24 of the water purifier
20, and includes a valve housing 72, a poppet 74, and a control knob 76. The valve housing 72 has a water inlet port 72a and a water outlet port 72b. The poppet 74 is movably installed in the valve housing 72, and changes its position, thus closing the water outlet port 72b or controlling the opening ratio of the water outlet port 72b, therefore regulating the pressure of washing water. The control knob 76 extends from a side of the poppet 74 in such a way as to protrude out of the purifier housing 22, and manipulates the poppet 74. In this case, the water inlet port 72a of the valve housing 72 is coupled to the post-processing filter 30, whereas the water outlet port 72b is coupled to the outlet 24b of the purifying chamber 24.
[75] Such a control valve 70 is operated as follows. By manipulating the control knob 76 so as to close the water outlet port 72b or control the opening ratio of the water outlet port 72b, the supply of washing water from the water purifier 20 to the head is prevented or allowed, and the pressure of the washing water is regulated.
[76] Meanwhile, the control valve 70 is provided with a positioning means so as to secure the poppet 74 at a selected position.
[77] The positioning means includes a stopper 80, which is mounted to the poppet 74 in such a way as to be elastically moved, and a plurality of locking slots 82, which are formed on the valve housing 72 to engage with the stopper 80. In this case, one of the locking slots 82 is formed at a position for allowing the poppet 74 to close the water outlet port 72b. Thus, in the state in which the poppet 74 closes the water outlet port 72b, the poppet can be secured to the position.
[78] Next, the operation of the present invention, constructed as described above, will be described with reference to FIGS. 1 and 2. First, after the inlet hose 10 is coupled to the water pipe, the water pipe is opened. At this time, water is introduced from the water pipe to the inlet hose 10. The introduced water flows into the purifying chamber 24 of the purifier housing 22. The inflowing water is purified while passing through the filtering elements in the purifying chamber 24, that is, the nano silver ceramic balls.
[79] Meanwhile, the purified washing water is introduced into the post-processing filter
30 and is secondarily purified. The purified water flows into the control valve 70. Here, when the post-processing filter 30 communicates with the outlet 24b of the purifying chamber 24 via the control valve 70, washing water is fed from the postprocessing filter 30 through the outlet 24b of the purifying chamber 24 and the coupling hose 46a to the outlet port 46 of the head 40. The washing water, fed to the outlet port 46 of the head 40, is sprayed through the bidet nozzle 50. Thus, a user can wash the interior of the bowels or vagina using the sprayed washing water.
[80] (Second Embodiment)
[81] FIGS. 6 and 7 show the second embodiment of the present invention. A control valve 70 according to the second embodiment is installed between a water purifier 20 and an inlet hose 10, unlike the first embodiment, in which the control valve is installed in the purifying chamber 24 of the water purifier 20.
[82] The general construction of the control valve 70 according to the second embodiment remains the same as that of the control valve 70 according to the first embodiment except that a water inlet port 72a of a valve housing 72 communicates with the inlet hose 10, a water outlet port 72b communicates with an inlet 24a of the water purifier 20, and the valve housing is accommodated in an additional casing 70a. The upper and lower portions of the casing 70a are fastened to the water purifier 20 and the inlet hose 10, respectively, through a screw-type fastening method.
[83] The control valve 70 of the second embodiment is operated as follows. That is, a user manipulates a control knob 76 to adjust the position of a poppet 74, thus completely preventing or allowing the supply of washing water from the inlet hose 10. In this way, the supply of washing water to the head 40 is prevented or allowed, and the pressure of washing water can be regulated.
[84] (Third Embodiment)
[85] FIGS. 8 and 9 show a bidet, according to the third embodiment of the present invention. The bidet of the third embodiment is provided with a head 90, with two bidet nozzles 100 and 110 mounted to the head 90. One of the bidet nozzles is designated as a first bidet nozzle 100, while the other bidet nozzle is designated as a second bidet nozzle 110.
[86] The first bidet nozzle 100 is a nozzle body having a chevron nozzle hole 102, and is coupled to a water purifier 20 through a first coupling hose 104. The first bidet nozzle 100 sprays washing water, fed from the water purifier 20, onto a user's anal area or vagina in order to wash it.
[87] The second bidet nozzle 110 includes a nozzle body 112, and an antibacterial silicone hose 114 which is fitted into the nozzle body 112.
[88] The nozzle body 112 is a long tube, and is integrally provided on the upper and back surfaces of a head body 92. Thus, the nozzle body is bent in an "L" shape. The nozzle body 112 has an inner diameter part 112a. The inner diameter part 112a is coupled to the water purifier 20 through a second coupling hose 115. Such a construction allows washing water to be fed from the water purifier 20 to the nozzle body 112.
[89] The antibacterial silicone hose 114 is inserted into a user's bowels or vagina and is flexible, with a passage 114a defined in the antibacterial silicone hose. A nozzle head 114c having nozzle holes 114b is provided on the front portion of the antibacterial silicone hose.
[90] Such an antibacterial silicone hose 114 is movably fitted into the inner diameter part
112a of the nozzle body 112. The antibacterial silicone hose 114 is advanced towards the open front of the inner diameter part 112a by the pressure of washing water fed to the inner diameter part 112a, and is protruded forwards from the nozzle body 112. In the state where the antibacterial silicone hose is protruded forwards, it enters a user's bowels or vagina and sprays washing water. Thus, when the antibacterial silicone hose is placed inside the user's vagina, the interior of the vagina is washed.
[91] Meanwhile, the first and second bidet nozzles 100 and 110 are covered with a cap
118, thus preventing the bidet nozzles from being soiled by foreign material.
[92] Referring to FIGS. 8 and 9, the bidet of the third embodiment is provided with a control valve 120, which prevents the supply of washing water from the water purifier 20, or supplies washing water to either the first or second bidet nozzle 100 or 110.
[93] As shown in FIG. 9, the control valve 120 is provided with a valve housing 122 which is installed in the head 90. The valve housing 122 is provided with a water inlet port 122a, a first water outlet port 122b, and a second water outlet port 122c. The water inlet port 122a is coupled to a post-processing filter 30, the first water outlet port 122b is coupled to the first coupling hose 104, and the second water outlet port 122c is coupled to the second coupling hose 115. [94] Further, the control valve 120 is provided with a spool 130 which is movably installed in the inner diameter part of the valve housing 122. The spool 130 has an internal passage 132. The spool may move to a first stage position Q, designating one side of a central neutral position N, or may move to a second stage position R, designating the other side of the neutral position N.
[95] Such a spool 130 blocks the water inlet port 122a of the valve housing 122 at the neutral position N. When the spool is located at the first stage position Q, the water inlet port 122a of the valve housing 122 communicates with the first water outlet port 122b. Meanwhile, when the spool is located at the second stage position R, the water inlet port 122a of the valve housing 122 communicates with the second water outlet port 122c. Thus, when the spool is located at the neutral position N, the supply of washing water from the water purifier 20 is prevented. When the spool is located at the first stage position Q, washing water is fed from the water purifier 20 to the first bidet nozzle 100 of the head 90. When the spool is located at the second stage position R, washing water is fed from the water purifier 20 to the second bidet nozzle 110 of the head 90.
[96] The control valve 120 also has a control knob 138, which extends from the spool
130 in such a way as to protrude out of the water purifier 20, thus allowing a user to manipulate the spool 130. A user may manipulate the spool 130 using the control knob 138 so that the spool moves from the neutral position N to the first stage position Q, or moves from the neutral position N to the second stage position R.
[97] The control valve 120 is provided with a positioning means which secures the spool
130 to any one position, that is, the neutral position N, the first stage position Q, and the second stage position R.
[98] The positioning means includes a stopper 140 which is mounted to the spool 130 in such a way as to elastically move, and first to third locking slots 142, 144, and 146 which are provided on the valve housing 122 to engage with the stopper 140. Of course, the interval between the first locking slot 142, the second locking slot 144, and the third locking slot 146 is equal to the interval between the first stage position Q, the neutral position N, and the second stage position R.
[99] When the control knob 138 is manipulated to adjust the position of the spool 130, the control valve 120 may prevent the supply of washing water from the water purifier 20, or may supply washing water to either the first or second bidet nozzle 100 or 110, which are installed at the head 90.
[100] Further, the bidet of the third embodiment also includes a subsidiary control valve
150 which prevents or allows the supply of washing water from an inlet hose 10 to the water purifier 20, or regulates the pressure of washing water.
[101] The subsidiary control valve 150 is installed between the water purifier 20 and the inlet hose 10, and includes a valve housing 152, a poppet 154, and a control knob 156. The valve housing 152 has a water inlet port 152a and a water outlet port 152b. The poppet 154 is movably installed in the valve housing 152, and closes the water outlet port 152b and controls the opening ratio of the water outlet port 152b, thus regulating the pressure of washing water, according to the position of the poppet. The control knob 156 extends from one side of the poppet 154 in such a way as to protrude out of the valve housing 152, thus allowing a user to manipulate the poppet 154. In this case, the water inlet port 152a of the valve housing 152 communicates with the inlet hose 10, the water outlet port 152b communicates with an inlet 24a of the water purifier 20, and the valve housing 152 is accommodated in an additional casing 150a. The upper and lower portions of the casing 150a are fastened to the water purifier 20 and the inlet hose 10, respectively, through a screw-type fastening method.
[102] By manipulating the control knob 156 to close the water outlet port 152b or control the opening ratio thereof, the subsidiary control valve 150 prevents or allows the supply of washing water from the water purifier 20 to the head 40, and regulates the pressure of washing water.
[103] Meanwhile, the subsidiary control valve 150 is provided with a positioning means for securing the poppet 154 at a selected position.
[104] The positioning means includes a stopper 160 and a plurality of locking slots 162.
The stopper is installed at the poppet 154 in such a way as to elastically move. The locking slots are provided on the valve housing 152 to engage with the stopper 160. In this case, one of the locking slots 162 is formed at a position that allows the poppet 154 to close the water outlet port 152b. Thus, the poppet 154 is secured to the position at which the poppet closes the water outlet port 152b.
[105] Meanwhile, the remainder of the construction and operation of the bidet according to the third embodiment is the same as the bidet of the second embodiment.
[ 106] (Fourth Embodiment)
[107] FIG. 10 is a view showing a bidet, according to the fourth embodiment of the present invention. The bidet of the fourth embodiment further includes a pump 170 at one end of an inlet hose 10.
[108] The pump 170 is a fluid pump. Thus, when there is no water supply source, for example, a water pipe, the pump 170 pumps washing water contained in an additional container 180 and supplies the washing water to a water purifier 20.
[109] The bidet of the fourth embodiment can pump and use washing water contained in the additional container 180. Thus, even in places where no water pipe is installed, it is possible to carry and use the bidet.
[110] Meanwhile, as a modification of the invention, a three-way valve (not shown) may be installed at one end of the inlet hose 10. Thereby, even in the state in which the inlet hose is always coupled to the water pipe, washing water can be supplied to the bidet. That is, after the end of the inlet hose 10 is coupled to the water pipe via the three-way valve, the three-way valve is controlled to introduce water from the water pipe to the bidet or to use general water straight from the water pipe.
[I l l] (Fifth Embodiment)
[112] FIGS. 11 and 12 are views showing a bidet, according to the fifth embodiment of the present invention. The bidet of the fifth embodiment is constructed so that a bidet nozzle 250 is mounted to a head body 242. The bidet nozzle 250 includes a nozzle body 252 which is installed in the head body 242, and an antibacterial silicone hose 254 which is fitted into the nozzle body 252.
[113] The nozzle body 252 is a long tube, and is bent along the interior of the head body
242 in an "L" shape. Further, the nozzle body 252 has an inner diameter part 252a. The inner diameter part 252a communicates with an outlet 224b of a water purifier 220. Such a construction allows washing water to pass from the water purifier 220 to the nozzle body 252.
[114] The antibacterial silicone hose 254 is inserted into a user's bowels or vagina and is flexible, with a passage 254a defined in the antibacterial silicone hose. A nozzle head 254c having nozzle holes 254b is provided on the front portion of the antibacterial silicone hose.
[115] Such an antibacterial silicone hose 254 is movably fitted into the inner diameter part
252a of the nozzle body 252. Further, the antibacterial silicone hose advances towards the open front of the inner diameter part 252a and is protruded forwards from a head 240 by the pressure of washing water fed into the inner diameter part 252a of the nozzle body 252. In the state in which the antibacterial silicone hose protrudes forwards, the protruding silicone hose is placed in a user's bowels or vagina and sprays water into the bowels or vagina. Thus, in the state in which the antibacterial silicone hose enters the user's vagina, the interior of the vagina is washed.
[116] Meanwhile, the front surface of the bidet nozzle 250 is covered with a cap 256. This cap 256 is fastened to the anterior portion of the head body 242 using a fastening means. The fastening means includes coupling holes 257 which are formed in the circumference of the anterior portion of the head body 242, and coupling protrusions 258 which are provided on the cap 256 and are detachably fitted into the coupling holes 257. Meanwhile, an internal thread and an external thread may be used as the fastening means. Such a cap 256 covers the bidet nozzle 250, thus preventing the bidet nozzle from becoming soiled by foreign material.
[117] Further, a chevron nozzle hole 256a is formed in the cap 256. The chevron nozzle hole 256a sprays washing water from the nozzle holes 254b of the antibacterial silicone hose 254 to a user's anal area or vagina, thus washing the anal area or vagina. [118] The operation of the present invention constructed as described above will be described with reference to FIGS. 11 and 12. First, after an inlet hose 210 is coupled to the water pipe, the water pipe is opened. At this time, water is introduced from the water pipe to the inlet hose 210. The introduced water flows into a purifying chamber 224 of a purifier housing 222. The inflowing water is purified while passing through filtering elements in the purifying chamber 224, that is, the nano silver ceramic balls.
[119] Meanwhile, the purified washing water is introduced into a post-processing filter
230 and is secondarily purified. The purified water flows into a control valve 270. Here, when the post-processing filter 230 communicates with the outlet 224b of the purifying chamber 224 via the control valve 270, washing water is fed from the postprocessing filter 230 through the outlet 224b of the purifying chamber 224 and through a coupling hose 246a to the bidet nozzle 250 of the head 240. The washing water fed to the bidet nozzle 250 flows into the inner diameter part 252a of the nozzle body 252. The inflowing washing water flows into the passage 254a defined in the antibacterial silicone hose 254 again, and is sprayed through the front nozzle head 254c.
[120] At this time, since the washing water sprayed onto the front still has high pressure, the washing water moves the antibacterial silicone hose 254 forwards. Thus, the antibacterial silicone hose 254 is protruded forwards and is inserted into a user's bowels or vagina, thus washing the interior of the bowels or vagina.
[121] (Sixth Embodiment)
[122] FIGS. 13 and 14 are a perspective view and a sectional view showing a modification of a bidet nozzle 290 included in a bidet, according to the sixth embodiment of the present invention. The bidet nozzle 290 is a vibration-type bidet nozzle, and includes a nozzle body 292, a vibrating insert unit 294 which extends forwards from the nozzle body 292, and a vibrator 295 which vibrates the vibrating insert unit 294.
[123] The nozzle body 292 is detachably fastened to the open front of a head body 242 through a screw-type fastening method. In this case, the nozzle body 292 is coupled to an outlet 224b of a water purifier 220 via a coupling hose 292a.
[124] The vibrating insert unit 294 includes an antibacterial silicone hose 294a and a vibration bar 294b. The antibacterial silicone hose 294a extends a long distance from the open front of the nozzle body 292, and is inserted into a user's bowels or vagina, thus spraying washing water into the bowels or vagina. The vibration bar 294b is provided in the antibacterial silicone hose 294a. In particular, the vibration bar 294b is vibrated by the vibrator 295 and thus simultaneously induces an oscillating motion to washing water flowing into the antibacterial silicone hose 294a.
[125] Meanwhile, a water outlet cap 294c is provided on the outer circumference of the vibrating insert unit 294. The water outlet cap 294c couples the vibrating insert unit 294 to the nozzle body 292. In this case, the water outlet cap 294c is fastened to a head body 242 via a fastening means. The fastening means includes coupling holes 296 which are formed in the circumference of the anterior portion of the head body 242, and coupling protrusions 297 which are provided in the water outlet cap 294c and are detachably fitted into the coupling holes 296. Such a fastening means detachably fastens the vibrating insert unit 294 to the head body 242.
[126] The vibrator 295 is installed in the head body 242. The front portion of the vibrator is coupled to the vibration bar 294b via a coupling member 295a, while the rear portion of the vibrator is biased by a spring 295b. Such a vibrator 295 vibrates the vibration bar 294b, and is turned on or off by an on/off switch 295c, which is mounted on the water purifier 220. Of course, the on/off switch may be mounted on the head 240.
[127] Meanwhile, the vibrator 295 is driven by the power of a battery 299 which is installed in the head body 242. The battery 299 may be replaced with a new one through a cover 242a which is provided on the bottom of the head body 242.
[128] The bidet nozzle 290 of the sixth embodiment, constructed as described above, induces an oscillating motion in washing water using the vibration of the vibrator 295, thus maximizing the washing effect using washing water.
[129] Meanwhile, the bidet nozzle 290 of the sixth embodiment further includes a nozzle cap 290a. The nozzle cap is coupled to the open front of the head body 242 and is thus coupled to the nozzle body 292, when the vibrating insert unit 294 is separated from the head body 242.
[130] A chevron bidet nozzle hole 290b is formed in the upper surface of the nozzle cap
290a. The nozzle hole 290b sprays washing water, fed to the nozzle body 292, onto a user's anal area or vagina.
[131] (Seventh Embodiment)
[132] FIG. 15 is a view showing a bidet, according to the seventh embodiment of the present invention. The bidet of the seventh embodiment is constructed so that two bidet nozzles 300 and 310 are mounted to a head 240. Hereinafter, one of the two bidet nozzles 300 and 310 is designated as a first bidet nozzle 300, and the other bidet nozzle is designated as a second bidet nozzle 310.
[133] The first bidet nozzle 300 comprises a vibration-type bidet nozzle, which is described above. The vibration-type bidet nozzle 300 includes a nozzle body 302, a vibrating insert unit 304 which extends forwards from the nozzle body 302, and a vibrator 305 which vibrates the vibrating insert unit 304.
[134] Here, the nozzle body 302 is coupled to a water purifier 220 via a coupling hose
302a. Further, the vibrating insert unit 304 includes an antibacterial silicone hose 304a and a vibration bar 304b. The vibrator 305 is driven by the power of a battery 309, and is turned on or off using an on/off switch 305c. Since the remainder of the construction and operation of the seventh embodiment is the same as those of the sixth embodiment, it will not be described below in detail.
[135] The second bidet nozzle 310 includes a nozzle body 312, and an antibacterial silicone hose 314 which is fitted into the nozzle body 312.
[136] The nozzle body 312 is a long rube, and is integrally provided along the rear and upper surfaces of a head body 242. Thus, the nozzle body is bent in an "L" shape. Further, the nozzle body 312 has an inner diameter part 312a. The inner diameter part 312a is coupled to the water purifier via a coupling hose 315. Thus, washing water is fed from the water purifier 220 into the nozzle body 312.
[137] The antibacterial silicone hose 314 is inserted into a user's bowels or vagina and is flexible, with a passage 314a defined in the antibacterial silicone hose. A nozzle head 314c having nozzle holes 314b is provided on the anterior portion of the antibacterial silicone hose.
[138] This antibacterial silicone hose 314 is movably placed in the inner diameter part
312a of the nozzle body 312. Further, the antibacterial silicone hose 314 advances towards the open front of the inner diameter part 312a and is protruded forwards from the nozzle body 312 by the pressure of washing water fed to the inner diameter part 312a. In the state where the antibacterial silicone hose is protruded, the antibacterial silicone hose is inserted into a user's bowels or vagina, and sprays washing water into the bowels or vagina. Thus, in the state in which the antibacterial silicone hose is inserted into the user's vagina, the interior of the vagina is washed.
[139] Turning back to FIG. 15, the bidet of the seventh embodiment is provided with a control valve 320 which prevents the supply of washing water from the water purifier 220 or supplies washing water to either of the first or second bidet nozzle 300 or 310.
[140] The control valve 320 is provided with a valve housing 322 which is installed in the water purifier 220. The valve housing 322 is provided with a water inlet port 322a, a first water outlet port 322b, and a second water outlet port 322c. The water inlet port 322a is coupled to a post-processing filter 230, the first water outlet port 322b is coupled to the first bidet nozzle 300, and the second water outlet port 322c is coupled to the second bidet nozzle 310.
[141] Further, the bidet of the seventh embodiment is provided with a subsidiary control valve 350 which prevents or allows the supply of washing water from an inlet hose 210 to the water purifier 220, or regulates the pressure of washing water.
[142] Such a subsidiary control valve 350 prevents or allows the supply of washing water from the water purifier 220 to the bidet nozzle 300 or 310 of the head 240 and regulates the pressure of the washing water, in response to manipulation of a control knob 356 to close a water outlet port 352b or control the opening ratio thereof.
[143] Meanwhile, the subsidiary control valve 350 is provided with a positioning means for securing a poppet 354 at a selected position. [ 144] (Eighth Embodiment)
[145] FIG. 16 is a view showing a bidet, according to the eighth embodiment of the present invention. The bidet of the eighth embodiment is constructed so that two bidet nozzles, namely, first and second bidet nozzles 300 and 310, are mounted to a head 240. In this case, the first bidet nozzle 300 is the above-mentioned vibration-type bidet nozzle 300, while the second bidet nozzle 310 is a nozzle body 318 having a chevron nozzle hole 318a.
[146] In particular, the second bidet nozzle 310 is coupled to a water purifier 220 via a coupling hose 319, and sprays washing water, fed from the water purifier 220, through the chevron nozzle hole 318a. Thus, the sprayed washing water washes a user's anal area or vagina. In this case, the second bidet nozzle 310 is covered with a nozzle cap 318b.
[147] Meanwhile, the general construction and operation of the bidet of the eighth embodiment are the same as those of the seventh embodiment.
[148] (Ninth Embodiment)
[149] FIG. 17 is a view showing a bidet according to the ninth embodiment of the present invention. The bidet of the ninth embodiment includes a bidet head 500, a bidet nozzle 510, a water purifier 530, and a control valve 550.
[150] As shown in FIGS. 17 and 18, the bidet head 500 is provided with a head 501 which is bent to have a predetermined shape, and a discharge tube 502 which is housed in the head 501. An outlet of the discharge tube 502 is coupled to the front end of the head 501, and the bidet nozzle 510 is detachably fastened to the front end of the head 501 to communicate with the outlet of the discharge tube 502.
[151] The bidet nozzle 510 includes a connector 511, which has the shape of a cap and is detachably fastened to the head 501, and an antibacterial silicone hose 512. The antibacterial silicone hose is detachably connected to the connector 511 and extends a long distance from the connector, with a plurality of nozzle holes 513 formed in the front end of the antibacterial silicone hose.
[152] Since the antibacterial silicone hose 512 is flexible, the front end of the antibacterial silicone hose 512 having the nozzle holes 513 can be easily inserted into a user's rectum or vagina without causing injury.
[153] A part for coupling the bidet head 500 with the bidet nozzle 510 and a part for coupling the connector 511 of the bidet nozzle 510 with the antibacterial silicone hose 512 each have a water-tight structure due to the use of O-rings.
[154] Meanwhile, as shown in FIGS. 19 and 20, a middle bidet nozzle 520 may be interposed between the bidet head 500 and the bidet nozzle 510.
[155] The middle bidet nozzle 520 is provided with a nozzle body 521 having a chevron nozzle hole 522, and an intermittent spraying means 523 which controls the flow of water so that the water is intermittently sprayed from the chevron nozzle hole 522.
[156] The nozzle body 521 is installed at the front end of the bidet head 500 in such a way as to communicate with the outlet of the discharge tube 502. The intermittent spraying means 523 is installed in front of the nozzle body 521, thus intermittently controlling the opening ratio of the chevron nozzle hole 522.
[157] The intermittent spraying means 523 includes a valve body 524 and a spring 525.
The valve body is installed in front of the nozzle body 521 in such a way as to be moved by the pressure of water discharged from the discharge tube 502. The spring is compressed or extended by the valve body 524, on which the water pressure acts, so that the valve body 524 is intermittently spaced apart from the chevron nozzle hole 522, and thereby the chevron nozzle hole 522 is intermittently opened. Reference numeral 526 denotes a support ring for supporting the spring 525.
[158] In a detailed description, the spring 525 is elastically installed between the valve body 524 and the antibacterial silicone hose 512. Thus, when water pressure acting through the chevron nozzle hole 522 is larger than the elastic force of the spring 525, the spring 525 is compressed by the valve body 524, which is subjected to the water pressure, so that the valve body 524 is pushed towards the antibacterial silicone hose. Consequently, the chevron nozzle hole 522 is opened, so that water can be sprayed through the nozzle holes 513 of the bidet nozzle 510.
[159] Further, when the spring 525 is compressed beyond a predetermined limit, the spring 525 is extended by the restoring force of the spring 525, so that the valve body 524 is pushed toward the chevron nozzle hole 522, and thus the chevron nozzle hole 522 is closed. Consequently, the spraying of water through the bidet nozzle 510 is prevented.
[160] As such, the spraying of water is repeatedly carried out and stopped, thus increasing the effect of washing a target area, in addition to providing a massage effect.
[161] Meanwhile, the water purifier 530 is fastened to the lower end of the bidet head 500 so as to supply purified water to the discharge tube 502. As shown in FIG. 18, the water purifier 530 includes a filter 540 and a purifier housing 531.
[162] The purifier housing 531 has the shape of a tube. Further, the filter 540 has a modular structure so that it can be easily replaced with a new one. The filter includes a purifying tube 541, purifying powder 542, a post-processing filter 543, and a leakage prevention grill 544.
[163] The purifying tube 541 couples the outlet of a control valve 550, which will be described below, with the inlet of the discharge tube 502, which is provided in the bidet head 500. The purifying powder 542 is contained in the purifying tube. The leakage prevention grill 544 is mounted to the inlet of the purifying tube 541 and prevents the leakage of the purifying powder 542. The post-processing filter 543 is mounted to the outlet of the purifying tube, and secondarily purifies water purified by the purifying powder 542, in addition to preventing the leakage of the purifying powder 542.
[164] The purifying tube 541 may be made of PVC or silicone material. Preferably, the purifying tube is formed to be flexible so that the purifying tube can be easily attached to or detached from the purifier housing 531, which is bent to have a predetermined shape.
[165] The purifying powder 542 may use nano silver ceramic balls coated with silver, and, in addition, may use activated carbon or other materials having a purifying function.
[166] The control valve 550 is installed at the inlet of the purifier 530, and controls the supply of water from a water supply hose 560 (see, FIG. 17) to the water purifier 530.
[167] As shown in FIGS. 18, 21, and 22, the control valve 550 includes a valve housing
551, a valve spool 556, and a control knob 558.
[168] The valve housing 551 has a hollow portion 552 which passes vertically through the valve housing. The lower end of the valve housing is coupled to the water supply hose 560, and the upper end of the valve housing is coupled through the lower end of the purifier housing 531 to the leakage prevention grill 544. Further, the valve housing 551 is provided with an insert pipe 553, which protrudes out of the valve housing and passes through the hollow portion 552. A part for coupling the valve housing 551 with the leakage prevention grill 554 has a water-tight structure.
[169] Further, a threaded part 554 is provided on the outer circumference of the lower end of the valve housing 551, so that the water supply hose 560 can be fastened to the control valve through a screw-type fastening method. In addition to the threaded part 554, a one-touch connector may be provided to allow the control valve to be easily connected to the water supply hose 560.
[170] Further, the valve spool 556 controls the opening ratio of the hollow portion 552 of the valve housing 551 according to the rotating angle of the valve spool. The valve spool is rotatably inserted at one end thereof into the insert pipe 553, and has an opening-ratio control hole 557 at a position corresponding to the hollow portion 552. The opening-ratio control hole is formed in the diametrical direction of the valve spool to control the opening ratio of the hollow portion 552. A gap between the insert pipe 553 and the valve spool 556, which is inserted into the insert pipe, is sealed by a watertight structure comprising an O-ring.
[171] Thus, when the valve spool 556 is rotated so that the opening-ratio control hole 557 is aligned with the hollow portion 552 of the valve housing 551, water can be supplied from the water supply hose 560 to the water purifier 530. Further, when the valve spool 556 is rotated so that the opening-ratio control hole 557 is not aligned with the hollow portion 552 of the valve housing 551, the supply of water from the water supply hose 560 to the water purifier 530 is prevented.
[172] The control knob 558 is mounted to the other end of the valve spool 556 that is exposed outside the valve housing 551, thus allowing a user to easily turn the valve spool 556.
[173] A protective casing 559 is provided outside the valve spool 556 and the valve housing 551, and provides a good appearance, in addition to protecting the parts. Preferably, the protective casing 559 is formed to have two divided parts each having a hemispherical shape.
[174] That is, coupling protrusions 555 are provided on both sides of the outer circumferential surface of the valve housing 551. The two divided parts of the protective casing 559 are coupled to the corresponding coupling protrusions 555. Thereby, the protective casing 559 surrounds the outside of the valve spool 556 and the valve housing 551.
[175] Next, the operation of the bidet, which is constructed as described above, according to the ninth embodiment of the present invention, will be described.
[176] The water supply hose 560, coupled to the valve housing 551, is connected to a water pipe, and the water pipe is opened. In such a state, the bidet nozzle 510 is brought near a target area to be washed. Thereafter, when the control valve 550 is opened by manipulating the control knob 558, water is supplied through the water supply hose 560 to the filter 540.
[177] When the water supplied to the filter 540 passes through the purifying powder 542, the water is primarily purified. When the water passes through the post-processing fil ter 543, the water is secondarily purified. The purified water flows through the discharge tube 502 of the bidet head 500 to the bidet nozzle 510, and thereafter, is sprayed onto the target area through the nozzle holes 513 of the bidet nozzle 510.
[178] Further, if necessary, the bidet nozzle 510 is inserted into a user's anus or vagina to spray water into the anus or vagina. Thereby, the interior of the bowels or a woman's vagina, which must be clean, can be thoroughly washed.
[179] When a user desires to stop supplying water, the control knob 558 is turned so that the opening-ratio control hole 557 of the valve spool 556 is not aligned with the hollow portion 552 of the valve housing 551. Further, the degree of overlap of the opening- ratio control hole 557 with the hollow portion 552 of the valve housing 551 is adjusted, thus controlling the flow rate and pressure of water.
[180] According to the present invention, when a user manipulates the control knob 558 of the control valve 550, water which flows down during a washing operation does not contact the user's hand, because the control knob 558 is coupled to the water supply hose 560. Further, since the control knob 558 is spaced apart from a target area to be washed, it is easy to manipulate the control knob 558. Further, since water flows in one direction in the filter 540, the water can flow smoothly, and the water can be efficiently purified.
[181] In the case of using the middle bidet nozzle 520, water discharged from the discharge tube 502 of the bidet head 500 is intermittently supplied to the bidet nozzle 510 while passing through the middle bidet nozzle 520.
[182] In this case, when the pressure of water is larger than the elastic force of the spring
525 installed in the middle bidet nozzle 520, the spring 525 is compressed, and the chevron nozzle hole 522 is opened. Thereby, the water is supplied to the bidet nozzle 510. Meanwhile, when the spring 525 is compressed beyond a predetermined limit, the spring 525 is extended by its restoring force, thus closing the chevron nozzle hole 522, therefore preventing the supply of water to the bidet nozzle 510. Thus, the spraying of water is repeatedly started and stopped, so that the effectiveness of washing a target area to be washed is increased, and a massage effect is realized.
[183] After the bidet of the present invention has been used a lot, the filter 540 becomes dirty and thus loses its purifying function. In this case, the filter 540 must be replaced with a new one. According to the present invention, the filter 540 has a modular structure, so that the filter 540 can be simply replaced with a new one by separating the water purifier 530.
