Abstract
The invention relates to devices for carrying out magnetic imagery of the part of the subsoil bordering the wall of an oil well. The inventive device is characterized, in essence, by the fact that it comprises a tool (103) capable of moving in a wall along its axis (104), at least one shoe (101, 102), means (105) for connecting the shoe (101, 102) to the tool (103) in such a manner that, when the tool moves in the well, the shoe moves, in essence, while facing an in proximity to the wall Pa of the well, a magnetic field sensor (C1, C2), means for mounting the sensor so that it interacts with the shoe, and a control and processing electronic circuit (Cct) connected to the inputs and outputs of the sensor (C1, C2), the sensor being constituted of a magnetic core (10) essentially defined in a plane Pn, the means (105) for mounting the sensor so that it interacts with the shoe (101, 102) being arranged in such a manner that, when the tool (103) moves inside the well (Pp) along its axis (104), the plane (Pn) is constantly parallel to the axis (104), at least one transmitter coil (13) arranged in a manner as to create a transmission magnetic field in the core (10), and a receiving coil (20) comprising two windings.
