Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de production d'un produit de départ pour la production d'un matériau composite qui comprend une phase matricielle métallique et une phase de renforcement. Le procédé de l'invention comprend les étapes suivantes qui consistent : à utiliser un dispositif d'extrusion équipé d'une filière (4) ; à alimenter en phase matricielle métallique une première partie du dispositif d'extrusion ; à transporter la phase matricielle métallique dans le sens de la filière (4) ; à alimenter en particules de renforcement formant la phase de renforcement la région d'une deuxième partie du dispositif d'extrusion ; à produire un mélange formé à partir des particules de renforcement et de la phase matricielle métallique au moins partiellement en fusion ; et à transporter le mélange dans la filière (4).
