  • the top sheet (11) can be a single top sheet (11) and the rotatable disc (12) is attached to the top sheet (11) with attachment means (14) or rivet (not shown) of any material such as plastic or metal or having a slot (not shown) for receiving the rotatable disc (12) therein.
  • the top sheet (11) of the interactive chart (10) is formed with two openings (40) and the rotatable disc (12) is attached to the top sheet
  • the two factors to be studied are provided on the rotatable disc (12).

  • the flaps are formed with a portion partially cut out from the top sheet (11).
  • the attachment means (14) may also be formed as the pointer (13) of the present invention.
  • the top sheet (11) in the preferred embodiment of the invention includes a plurality of data (16) denoting one of the factors to be studied.
  • the data (16) are provided at the periphery of the top sheet (11) as shown in figure 2a.
  • the openings (40) are formed on the top sheet (11) to expose the data (16) and information (18) of the correlated factor respectively.
  • a cut-out portion (19) is provided to enable the user to rotate the disc (12) through the cut-out portion (19) as shown in figure 2b.
  • the rotatable disc (12) which is attached at the side or formed larger than the top sheet (11) as shown in figures 1 and 2a, it can be rotated at the extended portion of disc (12) from the side of the top sheet (11).
  • FIG. 1 For example of the preferred embodiment of the present invention, to learn about directions as shown in figure 2a, there are data (16) of tree, human, book, jungle, building, car, cat and house which are displayed on the north, northeast, east, southeast, south, southwest, west and northwest respectively on the top sheet (11).
  • the data (16) shown for this direction chart (10) are for illustration purpose. Other data (16) may be used to substitute the mentioned data (16).
  • the data (16) on the top sheet (11) represent one of the factors of- the interactive chart (10) and the information (18) on the rotatable disc (12) represents the correlated factor of the device (10).
  • Additional data (16) which are similar to the data on the top sheet (11) may be provided at the rotatable disc (12) and will be shown through the first opening (40a). When the one of the data of the first factor is shown from a first opening (40a), the information of the correlated factor will be shown in the second opening (40b) of the top sheet (11).
  • the interactive chart (10) for the preferred embodiment is the angles interactive chart having a plurality of different angles to represent the angles such as acute angle, right angle, obtuse angle, straight angle, complement angle and supplement angle as shown in figure 4.
  • the data (16) can be displayed on the top portion of the top sheet (11).
  • This interactive chart (10) includes the pointer mark (13) which is a single line provided on the rotatable disc (12).
  • the pointer mark (13) can be seen through a viewable portion (48) provided on the top sheet (11).
  • a permanent reference mark (49) is provided on the viewable portion (48) to enable the pointer mark (13) to denote the degree for each of the data by rotating the rotatable disc (12). Only one opening (40) is needed to show the information (18) of the correlated factor of the rotated angle.
  • a location interactive chart grid lines with the x and y values are provided at a portion of the top sheet (11).
  • a plurality of data (16) is marked on the grid lines.
  • the data (16) to be studied will be shown from the first opening (40a) and the location for the diagram is shown from the second opening (40b).

  • the method of correlating the two factors of the educational chart is applicable to a wide range of subjects.

  • the first opening (40a) and the second opening (40b) are disposed in spaced apart horizontal position as shown in figure 5.
  • first rotatable disc (12a) On the first rotatable disc (12a), a plurality of fruit data (16) for example provided thereon which will be shown in the first opening (40a), and on the second rotatable disc (12b), the total prices of the fruits (18) are provided at the outer circumferential of the second rotatable disc (12b) which will be shown in the second opening (40b) and the information such as the name of the fruits and the weight (16) to be calculated is provided at the inner circumferential of the second rotatable disc (12b) that will be shown in the third opening (40c).

  • This interactive chart (10) can be used at both sides by having a similar arrangement of the one factor and correlated factor at the opposite back portion of the top sheet (11) and rotatable disc (12).
  • FIG 8 it shows an interactive chart with movable parts based on chain reactions and mechanical movements having at least three parts namely an attachment means, an arm and a slidable member.
  • the movement is provided by rotating the disc (12) that moves the attachment means (14) that in effect moving the arm (43b) and the slidable member (43 a).
  • the rotational movement is converted to lateral or transverse movement.
  • This chain of movements is suitable for teaching the movement of a piston or the like.
  • the top sheet (11) includes two openings (40) and a piston (43) having a plug (43a) acts as a slidable member which is slidable along a track (54) provided at the top sheet (11).
  • the plug (43a) is attached with a linkage (43b) acts as an arm which is secured to the rotatable disc (12) through the top sheet (11) with the attachment means (14).
  • the piston (43) is movable in relative to the rotational movements of the rotatable disc (12).
  • the type of strokes and the data (16) of the stroke positions which represent the two factors of the interactive chart (10) are provided on the rotatable disc (12) and will be shown from the respective openings.
  • a rotation mechanism is used to hold pieces of cards together while allowing them to rotate. In that mechanism, a first sheet is scored and cut to form two arms which are able to fold upwardly. The arms are then folded up and passed through a hole formed at a second sheet. These arms are folded out flat again on top of the second sheet. Another third sheet can be stuck onto the arms to hold it securely.

Abstract

L'invention concerne un tableau interactif permettant de corréler deux facteurs et comprenant une feuille supérieure pourvue d'une première ouverture et d'une seconde ouverture ainsi qu'un disque rotatif monté sur la feuille supérieure, le disque rotatif comportant des données illustrant un des facteurs et des informations illustrant le facteur corrélé. Lorsqu'une donnée est choisie dans la première ouverture de la feuille supérieure, la rotation du disque rotatif fait apparaître les informations du facteur corrélé pour la donnée choisie à travers la seconde ouverture de la feuille supérieure.
