Mode for the Invention [43] Reference will now be made in detail to the embodiments of the present invention, examples of which are illustrated in the accompanying drawings. The embodiments are described below in order to explain the present invention by referring to the figures. [44] FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a prop type advertising installation in accordance with an exemplary embodiment of the present invention.
[45] The prop type advertising installation in accordance with an exemplary embodiment of the present invention includes a main post pipe, a rotary pipe, upper support frames, lower support frames, connection frames, a rotating means, a raising/lowering drive means, and a banner.
[46] The main post pipe 110 in accordance with an embodiment of the present invention has a bar shape and the lower part thereof is vertically inserted into a prop 160 buried in the ground.
[47] The rotary pipe 120 has the same inner diameter as the outer diameter of the main post pipe 110 such that the main post pipe 110 is inserted into the rotary pipe 120.
[48] The support frame includes a plurality of upper support frames 130 and a plurality of lower support frames 130' corresponding to the upper frames 130. Each of the upper support frames 130 is perpendicularly fixed to an upper outer periphery of the rotary pipe 120 at its one side. Each of the lower support frames 130'is perpendicularly fixed to a lower outer periphery of the rotary pipe 120.
[49] The connection frames 140 and 140' are fixed to the other sides of the support frames 130 and 130' and horizontally disposed between the support frames 130 and 130'. The connection frames 140 and 140' having a hollow structure include raising/ lowering drive means 400 installed in the connection frames 140 and 140'to raise/ lower banners 150. In addition, holes 450 are formed at outer peripheries of the connection frames 140 and 140' such that wires 440 for connecting the banners 150 pass through the holes 450.
[50] In this process, in order to recognize phrases printed on the banners 150 even at night, illumination lights 170 may be further installed at the connection frames 140 and 140' or the support frames 130 and 130'.
[51] In addition, while not shown, an electric signboard and a signboard may be installed at upper parts of the support frames 130 and 130'.
[52] FIG. 2 is a cross-sectional view of a main post pipe and a rotary pipe in accordance with an exemplary embodiment of the present invention.
[53] A rotating means 220 for rotating the rotary pipe 120 is installed. The rotating means 220 includes a motor 221, a driven gear and a drive gear 222, and a shaft 223. The shaft 223 is connected to one side of the motor 221, and a drive gear is fixed to an end of the shaft 223. The driven gear meshed with the drive gear is formed at an outer periphery of the rotary pipe 120. The main post 120 is inserted into the rotary pipe 110 and the main post 120 and the rotary pipe 110 are supported by a thrust bearing 210. Bearings 224 are further installed between the rotary pipe 120 and the main post pipe 110 to smoothly rotate the rotary pipe 120. [54] FIG. 3 is a front view of a prop type advertising installation in accordance with another exemplary embodiment of the present invention.
[55] The prop type advertising installation in accordance with another exemplary embodiment of the present invention includes posts, a connection bar, a raising/ lowering drive means, an electric signboard, and a signboard.
[56] The posts 310 are stood at predetermined intervals, and the number of the posts may vary with that of the banners 330 to be hung between the posts 310.
[57] The connection bar 320 is horizontally and integrally installed at upper parts of the posts 310, crossing the posts 310. In addition, the connection bar 320 has a hollow structure, and holes 450 are formed at a lower surface of the connection bar 320 to allow wires 440 to pass therethrough.
[58] The electric signboard 340 is fixedly disposed on the connection bar 320, and the signboard 350 is further installed on the electric signboard 340.
[59] FIG. 4 is a cross-sectional view of a raising/lowering drive means in accordance with the present invention.
[60] The drive means 400 is disposed in the connection frame 140 or the connection bar
320, and includes a second motor 410, a second shaft 420, rollers 430, and wires 440. The second motor 410 is driven by electric power, and the second shaft 420 connected to one side of the second motor 410 is driven by the second motor 410. In addition, one side of the second shaft 420 is fixed to an inner wall of the upper support frame 130 or the post 310 through the medium of a bearing to smoothly rotate the second shaft 420.
[61] Describing operation of the above prop type advertising installation, in order to unwind the wires 440 wound on the rollers 430 to be close to a bottom thereof, the second motor 410 is driven to rotate in a direction opposite to a winding direction of the wires 440. When the wires 440 are unwound to get close to the bottom, and upper ends of the banner 150 or 330 are fixed to the wires 440. After fixing the banner 150 or 330 to the wires 440, the second motor 410 is driven to rotate in a direction opposite to the unwinding direction of the wires 440 to rewind the wires 440 on the rollers 430, thereby spreading the banner 150 or 330 upward. At this time, lower ends of the banner 150 or 330 are fixed to the connection frame 140' of the lower support frame 130' to entirely spread the banner 150 or 330, without a wrinkle thereon.
[62] In addition, driving the rotating means enables a person in a certain position to recognize all the banners 150 of the prop type advertising installation in accordance with an exemplary embodiment of the present invention. When the motor 221 of the rotating means 220 is rotated, the gear 210 connected to the shaft 223 is rotated. As a result, the rotary pipe 120 is rotated, and the upper support frame 130 and the lower support frame 130' fixed to the rotary pipe 120 are rotated, thereby allowing all the banners 150 in every direction to be recognized from a certain position. [63] While a few exemplary embodiments of the present invention have been shown and described, it will be appreciated by those skilled in the art that various changes may be made to these embodiments without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention as defined by the appended claims and their equivalents.
