Abstract

Selon l'invention, des points endodontiques d'activation (28a, 28b) et/ou autres outils dentaires sont dimensionnés et configurés pour être placés dans le canal radiculaire (12) d'une dent (10). Des agents de polymérisation peuvent comprendre des amines pouvant déstabiliser un peroxyde dans la matière de charge ou de scellement (32) pour démarrer ou accélérer la polymérisation, ou peuvent comprendre un peroxyde. Un outil peut être trempé dans une composition de polymérisation concentrée juste avant son insertion dans le canal radiculaire pour aller au contact de la composition de charge ou de scellement. Des trousses peuvent comprendre une pluralité de compositions à base d'agents de polymérisation présentant différentes concentrations et/ou quantités d'agents de polymérisation. Des trousses peuvent également comprendre une matière résineuse polymérisable présentant une première constituante d'un système de polymérisation à plusieurs constituantes; et une composition de polymérisation comprenant, comme agent de polymérisation, une constituante complémentaire du système de polymérisation.
