Further the audio transmitter controller 210 controls the 30 pin input/output connector 212 to transmit the audio device control signals to the audio device 400, the audio device control signals being outputted from the wired/wireless stereo audio transmitter 200.
  • the 30 pin input/output connector 212 provides an interface for transmitting/receiving the audio signals and the audio device control signals between the wired/wireless stereo headset 100 and the audio device 400.

  • Pin 3 corresponds to a right sound line outputted from the audio device 400, which is connected to the audio encoding processor 214 of the wired/wireless stereo audio transmitter 200.
  • Pin 4 corresponds to a left sound line outputted from the audio device 400, which is connected to the audio encoding processor 214 of the wired/wireless stereo audio transmitter 200.
  • Pin 11 is a serial ground pin, which is used for transmission of serial RxD data 13.
  • Pin 13 transmits audio device control signals for controlling the audio device 400, which provides an interface for transmitting audio device control signals to the audio device 400, wherein the audio device control signals are outputted from the wired/wireless stereo headset 100.
  • Pin 21 is an enable pin for serial communication. In order to start the serial communication, pin 21 must be in an enable state.
  • Pin 30 is a firewire ground pin, which is connected to pin 11 so as to connect the grounds of the audio device 400 and the wired/wireless stereo audio transmitter 200.
  • the audio encoding processor 214 performs an encoding operation for encoding the audio signals inputted through the 30 pin input/output connector 212 into signals that can be wirelessly transmitted by the wireless transceiver 112.
  • the wireless transceiver 112 receives wireless audio device control signals from the wired/wireless stereo headset 100 through the antenna 110, converts the received wireless audio device control signals into audio device control signals, transmits the audio device control signals to the audio transmitter controller 210, and transmits the wireless audio signals encoded by the audio encoding processor 214 to the wired/wireless stereo headset 100.

  • a user installs the wired/wireless stereo audio transmitter 200 in the audio device 400 by using the 30 pin input/output connector 212. If audio signals are inputted to the wired/wireless stereo audio transmitter 200 from the audio device 400, the audio encoding processor 214 in the wired/wireless stereo audio transmitter 200 encodes the audio signals into wireless audio signals that can be transmitted by the wireless transceiver 112, transmits the encoded signals to the audio transmitter controller 210. Then, the audio transmitter controller 210 transmits the wireless audio signals to the wired/wireless stereo headset 100 through the wireless transceiver 112.
  • audio device control signals are generated by using the user interface 126 of the wired/wireless stereo headset 100, and the generated audio device control signals are transmitted to the wireless transceiver 112 under the command of the headset controller 120.

  • a case in which a user uses the wire functions of the wired/wireless stereo headset 100 and the wired/wireless stereo audio transmitter 200 may be classified as a case of using the wired/wireless stereo audio transmitter 200 after the wired/wireless stereo audio transmitter 200 is attached to the audio device 400 as illustrated in FIG. 5a, and a case of using the wired/wireless stereo audio transmitter 200 after the wired/wireless stereo audio transmitter 200 is detached from the audio device 400 as illustrated in FIG. 5b.
  • a data cable is used as the wire cable 500 connecting the wired/wireless stereo headset 100 to the wired/wireless stereo audio transmitter 200.

Further, the interface connecting the audio decoding processor 122 to the audio output unit 140 is interrupted by the audio jack of the wire cable 500, and the headset controller 120 transmits audio device control signals to the wired/wireless stereo audio transmitter 200 through the data jack of the wire cable 500. The data jack inserted into the wire connector 130 transmits audio signals to the audio output unit 140 through the wire cable 500, wherein the audio signals are transmitted from the wired/wireless stereo audio transmitter 200.
  • the wire cable 500 uses an audio cable through which the audio device control signals outputted from the wired/wireless stereo audio transmitter 200 can be transmitted.
  • the audio jack of the wire cable 500 is inserted into the wire connector 130 of the wired/wireless stereo headset 100, internal electric power for wireless reception of the wired/wireless stereo headset 100 is interrupted, and the wireless function of the wired/wireless stereo headset 100 is not performed. Further, the interface connecting the audio decoding processor 122 to the audio output unit 140 is interrupted by the audio jack of the wire cable 500. The audio jack of the wire cable 500 connects the wire cable 500 to the audio output unit 140, and thus audio signals outputted from the audio device 400 are transmitted to the audio output unit 140.
  • a user interface for generating audio device control signals is provided in a wired/wireless stereo headset, and a 30 pin input/output connector is installed in a wired/wireless stereo audio transmitter, so that an audio device can be controlled in a wired or wireless manner. Consequently, it is possible to improve the utilization of the wired/wireless stereo headset.
