Abstract
L'invention porte sur un système comprenant une première passerelle logique, une seconde passerelle logique, un terminal source et un terminal de destination. La première passerelle logique est couplée à au moins un premier réseau d'accès, et la seconde passerelle logique est couplée à au moins un second réseau d'accès, les première et seconde passerelles logiques communiquant sur un troisième réseau. Le terminal source est couplé au premier réseau d'accès et communique avec la première passerelle logique, et le terminal de destination est couplé au second réseau d'accès et communique avec la seconde passerelle logique. Selon cette invention, les première et seconde passerelles transfèrent des paquets de données entre le terminal source et le terminal de destination, et les première et seconde passerelles échangent également des informations d'état du terminal source et du terminal de destination de façon à maintenir une connectivité universelle entre le terminal source et le terminal de destination.
