Abstract
The invention relates to a method for producing a press-hardened component from a semifinished unhardened and hot-shapeable steel-sheet product consisting in heating and press-hardening said semifinished product in a thermal-shaping tool. The aim of said invention is to increase drawing depths obtainable by press-hardening. For this purpose, the deformation speed, with which the semifinished product is shaped in said thermal-shaping tool is increased in such a way that a process for converting an austenitic structure into a martensitic or bainitic structure is completed only when the shaping process is finished. Advantageously, said deformation speed is greater than 65mm/sec. A component which is produced according to the inventive method and which can be coated by an anticorrosion aluminium silicon material is also disclosed.
