Description

TWO WAY OF INFORMATION AND RIPLE PROVIDING METHOD WITH AN PORTABLE TERMINAL AND BARCODES PRINTED ON ADVERTISEMENT POSTER
Field of the Invention
The present invention relates to a method for providing information(data) and reply in two ways through a user's terminal with respect to an advertisement's contents, using a barcode or tag printed on an advertisement poster, and in particular to a method for providing information(data) and reply in two ways with respect to an advertisement contents using a barcode or tag printed on an advertisement poster in which a user's portable terminal reads a barcode or a tag data physically printed on an advertisement poster (for example, movie poster, etc.) through a view window, connects with a host server of the system, receives a contents data related with the advertisement (movie), searches or reads a reply related with the advertisement (movie) contents, and directly writes a certain reply.
Background of the Invention
On the internet, nowadays many persons read the other's replies with respect to certain contents and write their replies with respect to the contents of others' replies or answer any questions. This new trend has been widely spread.
For example, when a movie related contents section of an internet site is connected, a brief story and a shortened movie on a movie is provided, which is currently played or was played in the past. Many replies and answers are provided at a corresponding movie section. Searching other's opinions and reviews on a corresponding movie, people can judge the movie. In addition, people can write their own opinions about the movie as well on the internet.
Further to this, the people involved in this new trend have judgment standard with respect to the purchase of a product based on other's evaluations on a corresponding product while watching and learning an advertisement poster of the product. They want others to read their replies and opinions.
However, in the conventional art, people should be inconveniently connected with the internet using personal computers, so that it is impossible to connect with the internet while they are moving. Even when people are connected with the internet using a cellular phone, which has an internet connection function, only the data stored in folders or sub-folders provided by the mobile communication service providers as the open contents can be watched. It is impossible to read others' replies or write answers and opinions.
Summary of the Invention
Accordingly, it is an object of the present invention to overcome the above problems encountered in the conventional art. It is another object of the present invention to provide a portable terminal and a method for providing a data and a reply in two ways with respect to an advertisement content using barcodes printed at an advertisement poster in which when a user reads a barcode or a tag printed on an advertisement (movie) poster through a portable terminal, the portable terminal is automatically connected with a host server of the system with the assistance of the barcode or tag, thereby obtaining a desired data by connecting to contents related to a corresponding advertisement (movie) and reading replies or writing answers.
Description of the Drawings
Figure 1 is a schematic view of an entire system according to the present invention;
Figure 2 is a view illustrating various two-dimensional barcodes; Figure 3 is a detailed view of a contents shown on a view window of a user's portable terminal; and Figure 4 is a flow chart of a method of the present invention.
Detailed Description of the Invention
The preferred embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings.
Figure 1 is a view illustrating a construction of a system for providing a service according to the present invention. A system operator, who provides services, is connected to remotely control a host server, and the host server is connected with a communication network of a mobile communication service provider based on a wired method or a wireless method.
The host server includes a WEB server for an internet connection, a WAP server for a mobile service, and a database. The portable terminal 130 of a user and a communication network 110 of a mobile communication service provider are connected based on a wireless method, so that the users are provided with desired services through an infrastructure of the internet and the wireless communication network. Here, a user's portable terminal corresponds to a cellular phone, a smart phone, a PDA, and a RFID reader-mounted terminal, which can read a barcode or a tag.
Watching an advertisement poster while moving, a user wants to see a more data concerning the advertisement product and others opinions concerning the product, as shown in Figures 1 and 2, the user gets his portable terminal closer to a feed back code (barcode) or a tag printed on an advertisement poster 120. A recognition program of a camera module or a tag reader module of the portable terminal recognizes a corresponding feed back code or a tag, and an index data (key values) of each feed back code (barcode) or tag is requested to the host server 100 of the system through a communication network of the mobile communication service provider. Namely, the index data (key value) is transmitted to the communication network of the mobile communication service provider 110 in a form of a data burst message (short message service) and a data service (WAP) and is transmitted to the host server 100 of the system operator. An inherent code number is provided to the feed back code (barcode) and the tag, with the inherent code number being corresponded to the system operation set by the contents. The barcode and tag recognition software of the user's portable terminal creates an index data (key value) based on the inherent code number of the advertisement poster content and transmits to the host server.
Here, the feed back code (bar code) is formed of a one-dimensional barcode, which is generally used for commercial items, and a two- dimensional barcode of Figure 3. For a particular purpose, a three- dimensional barcode may be used.
As shown in Figure 2, the two-dimensional barcode corresponds to a QR code, which is a matrix type ode, a data matrix, and a PDF-417, which is a multi-layer structure code and is capable of storing many data, as compared to the one-dimensional barcode. In addition, there are not any limits in the printing of symbols. A reading and recognition may be performed in all directions. The host server searches a content data based on a corresponding index data (key value) stored in the database in accordance with an index data (key value) of the requested barcode and shows the content data 150 corresponding to the advertisement poster of Figure 3 to the view window of the user's portable terminal. The data corresponding to the advertisement poster may include basic data, value added data, and any additional data. The basic data includes corresponding advertisement poster contents, for example, a title of the movie, a brief story, characters, price related with the movie. The value added data includes a brief motion picture such as a preview, and a detailed data such as a manual, etc. A review concerning a corresponding movie or a reply and comment concerning the characters are provided below the value added data. So as to obtain a detailed data, it is needed to click the section of the additional data for thereby connecting with a corresponding site (a movie production firm or character's homepages) for thereby performing a detailed data search.
Figure 4 is a flow chart of the method according to the present invention. The portable terminal user contacts the camera of the portable terminal with the barcode printed on the advertisement poster, and an index data based on an inherent code number of the barcode. The barcode is read by the software installed in the portable terminal in a step 200. The created index data is provided to the host server of the system through the communication network of the mobile communication service company in a step 210. Here, the host server provides the contents data of the advertisement poster stored in the database to the user's portable terminal through the mobile communication network in a step 220. The user searches the replies with respect to the contents for thereby researching the evaluations with respect to the contents, so that the searched data may be used for his selection. The user may write a reply with respect to the advertisement in a step 230. The written reply is stored in the database of the server of the system through the mobile communication network, so that others may read the replies in a step 230.
The user searches the data shown in the basic data and additional data related with the contents of the view windows of the portable terminal and searches the replies after learning the information with respect to a corresponding movie, so that the user can know the other's comments and reviews, thereby selecting a certain movie. After the user watches the movie, the user can write and store his comments, opinions or replies using his portable terminal anywhere any time. The thusly stored data may be stored in the form of the database of the host server of the system based on a corresponding advertisement poster, so that the user or other users can search the data. More detailed data may be searched when the internet site is connected.
In the above description, the movie poster was described as an example. In the case of the product poster (for example, an advertisement poster concerning Nike shoes), the basic data (name, kinds and price of the product, and the location and telephone number of a sales shop of the product), the value added data (for example, reviews and replies of the users with respect to a corresponding product), and additional data (for example, internet site of Nike corporation) may be searched, and the user may write replies.
Effect of the Invention
In the present invention, watching an advertisement poster of a product or a movie, a user can receive a data or other's opinions based on an inherent code number of a bar code and tag printed on an advertisement poster, concerning a product or a movie using a portable terminal from a host server of the system, so that it is possible to more correctly judge a corresponding product or a movie or to write an opinion or reply in two ways
