Abstract

The invention provides methods of making dedifferentiated cells from differentiated cells. The methods comprise treating the differentiated cell with a pluripotent stem cell extract. Dedifferentiated cells, pluripotent stem cells, and reprogrammed cells are also provided, as are methods of treating or preventing a disease, disorder, or condition in a mammal using the cells.
