  • the integrated electric-electronic circuit comprises an actuator connected to a control logic and driver fed by the low voltage of mains electricity, in turn connected to a pair of relay switches, one for each phase of the electric current. Closure of the integrated circuit, and therefore connection between the socket contacts and main electricity supply, is obtained, after the pins of the plug or adapter have been completely inserted into the socket, by the elements of said plug or of said adapter operating on said actuator.

  • One type of actuator comprises an optic sensor that closes an integrated circuit, the operative element of the plug or of the adapter being an emitter of light. Emission of light in the plug is obtained by a Light Emitting Diode, or LED. Closure of the integrated electro-electronic circuit takes place later, when insertion of the pins of the plug or of the adapter has been completed and therefore connection of the contacts in the socket to mains electric current, after the pins of the plug or of the adapter have matched up with the socket contacts, so making it impossible for an electric arc to form. Feed is preferably by capacitive drop, supplying an output of 10 Volts with a current maximum of 10 mA.

  • the sockets subject of the invention offer complete safety as, even if thin conducting objects are inserted into their holes, no connection with mains current is made.

  • the plug 40 When the plug 40, suitably composed, is inserted in the socket 10, by means of the micro switch 57 the electric circuit, is closed between the contacts of the socket 10 and the main supply of electric current 34.
  • Figure 16 illustrates an actuator 58 with optic sensor 59 that connects .the contacts 26 of the socket 10 with main electricity 34 when the plug 42 is inserted in said socket 10, , said plug being provided with a LED 44 fed by a small battery 46.

Abstract

La présente invention a trait à une prise de sécurité dont les contacts sont connectés au courant à partir du réseau de distribution électrique par la fermeture d'un circuit intégré electro-électronique installé à l'intérieur de la prise et comportant un actionneur connecté à une commande logique et un circuit de commande, alimenté par un courant de secteur à une très faible tension, ladite commande logique et le circuit de commande étant à leur tour connectés à des paires de contacteurs-relais, un pour chaque phase du courant électrique, la fermeture du circuit intégré étant obtenue par l'insertion totale dans ladite prise des broches d'une fiche ou d'un adaptateur, notamment des connecteurs électromécaniques au courant électrique de secteur et à un point quelconque d'utilisation.
