Description

Description HOOD PACK
Technical Field
[1] The present invention relates to a hood pack used for cooling the heat of a head, and in particular to a cool type hood pack which is advantageously used when enjoying a vapor bath or a heat bath in a sauna.
[2]
Background Art
[3] Recently, the interest in health increases along with a welling being trend. With the above trend, a health bath method is being boomed, which is known to eliminate wastes from a human body using vapor or heat as well as relaxing a muscle fatigue. The above health bath method is classified into a sauna bath, a whole body bath and a half-body bath. When a human body is exposed to a high temperature environment through a bath, a human body organ is activated, and heart beat and blood discharge increase, so that a blood circulation is enhanced, a blood vessel is expanded, and nutrition is well supplied to skins and muscles. Since wastes are advantageously eliminated from a human body by a sweating operation, the whole body conditions are enhanced. In particular, with increasing news concerning a half-body bath method, many persons enjoy the half -body bath.
[4] However, when a human body is exposed to a high temperature environment for a long time period, since a blood vessel is expanded, and a blood pressure decreases, so that a person may feel vertigo. Particularly, since the heat of a human body is transferred to a head portion, the vertigo that a person actually feels in a high temperature bath may be doubled. When the above high temperature is continuously applied to a human body, the person may feel headache, so that it is impossible to effectively enjoy the bath.
[5] In order to overcome the above high temperature heat problems, as shown in
Figure 1, a person puts a towel 10, which was previously wet with a cool water or was previously kept in a refrigerator, on his head 20 during a bath. Namely, vertigo or headache due to a blood pressure decrease and high temperature heat are released or prevented by cooling the head 20 with the cool towel 10.
[6] The towel 10 being wet with a cool water or kept in a refrigerator does not keep its cool for a long time. Although the towel, which has been just taken out of a refrigerator, may be cool at an initial stage, the cool may fast disappear after a short time is passed, so that it is impossible to effectively cool the head of the user with the towel. In order to overcome the above problems, when the towel is substantially frozen in the refrigerator and is used so as to cool the head, it is hard to unfold and make it flexible since it keeps hardened. So, it is needed to wait for a certain time period until it is melted and becomes flexible. Even when it is melted and becomes flexible, the cool of the towel fast disappears as described in the above. [7] In another method, ice may be directly contacted with the head for cooling a high temperature heat. When the ice is directly contacted with the head, the user may feel uneasiness and even feel pain due to a high temperature difference. This method may be effectively used for a long time period due to the above problems. [8] Therefore, it is urgently needed to develop a new type device, which is capable of easily and comfortably cooling the heat of a head. [9]
Disclosure of Invention
Technical Problem [10] Accordingly, it is an object of the present invention to provide a hood pack which overcomes the problems encountered in the conventional art. [11] It is another object of the present invention to provide a hood pack which is designed to keep a cool state for a long time period, and it is easy to keep and wear with its easy folding and unfolding properties. [12] It is further another object of the present invention to provide a hood pack which provides a smooth feel when wearing the same and prevents a low temperature heat from being transferred to a head for thereby achieving an excellent wearing feel. [13]
Technical Solution [14] To achieve the above objects, there is provided a hood pack which comprises a body which is worn by a user's head; a cushion part which is provided at an inner side contacting with a head of the body; and a cool air part which is provided at an outer surface of the body and is filled with a coolant. [15] The body comprises a horizontal band part which is worn along a head through a forehead; and a vertical band part which is worn along an upper side of the head. [16] The vertical band part is either a straight shape or a cross shape. The body is made of a vinyl material. [17] The cool air part comprises a plurality of pockets each having an independent space filled with the coolant, the coolant being selected from either water or jelly. [18] The cushion part comprises a plurality of air protrusions each filled with air.
[19]
Advantageous Effects
[20] The hood pack according to the present invention has the following advantages. [21] First, since a head heat is cooled using a frozen coolant, it is possible to keep a cool state for a long time period. Since a flexible vinyl material is used to make a body of a hood pack, the material being easy to fold and unfold, it is easy to keep and wear the product of the present invention. [22] Second, since the hood pack is provided with a cushion part, a user may feel a smooth and comfortable state. It is possible to prevent a too low temperature heat from being transferred to a head, so that the wearing feel is maximized. [23]

Best Mode for Carrying Out the Invention [34] In the present invention, there is provided a hood pack which comprises a body which is worn by a user's head; a cushion part which is provided at an inner side contacting with a head of the body; and a cool air part which is provided at an outer surface of the body and is filled with a coolant. [35] The body comprises a horizontal band part which is worn along a head through a forehead; and a vertical band part which is worn along an upper side of the head. [36] The vertical band part is either a straight shape or a cross shape. The body is made of a vinyl material. [37] The cool air part comprises a plurality of pockets each having an independent space filled with the coolant, the coolant being selected from either water or jelly.
[38] The cushion part comprises a plurality of air protrusions each filled with air.
[39]
Mode for the Invention
[40] The preferred embodiments of the present invention will be described. The terms and words used in the descriptions and claims of the present invention should be limited their defined meanings, but be understood as being matched with the technical concepts of the present invention based on the principles that any inventors can properly define the concepts of the terms so as to describe his invention in the best mode.
[41] The embodiments disclosed in the present specification and the constructions shown in the drawings are just an embodiment implemented among many embodiments. They do not wholly represent the technical concepts of the present invention, so that various equivalents and modifications may be alternates of the above matters and may be made at the time when the present invention is filed.
[42] Figure 2 is a perspective view illustrating a hood pack 100 according to an embodiment of the present invention, and Figure 3 is a plane view illustrating a hood pack 100 of Figure 2 according to the present invention. Figures 4 and 5 are views illustrating the front and back sides of a hood pack 100 of Figure 2 when it is unfolded according to the present invention;
[43] As shown therein, the hood pack 100 according to the present invention comprises a body 110 which is made in a certain shape being wearable by a user and is worn by a user's head, a cooling air part 130 provided at an outer side of the body 110, and a cushion part 120 provided at a portion contacting with a user's head.
[44] The body 110 is provided with a horizontal band part 111 which is worn along a forehead and back head in a horizontal direction, and a vertical band part 112 which crosses the upper side of a head. A Velcro fastener 140 is provided at one end of the same. With the above construction, a user wears the hood pack by fixing the band parts 111 and 112 while matching with the head size of the user. Here, the body 110 is preferably made of a vinyl material so that it is easily folded and unfolded.
[45] The cushion part 120 is provided with a plurality of air protrusions 121 each containing air therein, so that the user can have smooth and flexible feels. As the air- filled air protrusions 121 provide cushioning operations, so that the user can has smooth and flexible feels. Since the cool air of the cool air part 130 is slightly smoothed and transferred through the air protrusions 121, it is possible to prevent the user to feel uneasiness as the too cool air is directly transferred to the user's head. [46] The cool air part 130 is implemented in such a manner that a coolant 132 is stored in a plurality of pockets 131, respectively, each having an independent storing space, the coolant 132 being formed of a certain material which is easily cooled like water or jelly. The cool air outputted from the coolant 132 allows the user's head to be cooled. Here, the pockets 131 may be combined in a form of one storing space. In the preferred embodiments of the present invention, the pockets 131 have independent storing spaces, so that it is easy to fold and unfold the hood pack. Namely, the pockets 131 are protruded outwards, and the portions between the neighboring pockets 131 are concaved inwards, so that the cool air part 130 can be easily folded along the boundary lines of the protruded and concaved portions even when the coolant 132 is frozen for thereby easily folding the body 110 and making the volume of the same small. It is preferable to make small pockets have independent storing spaces and to store the coolant therein respectively.
[47] When the hood pack 100 is used, the hood pack 100 is folded and stored in the refrigerator so that the coolant is frozen. The coolant 132 formed like water or jelly is hardened in the refrigerator and is kept in the cool state.
[48] The hood pack 100 is taken out of the refrigerator and is worn by the user's head using the Velcro fastener as shown in Figure 6.
[49] When the user has a bath such as a sauna bath or a half -body bath while wearing the hood pack in the above manner, the user enjoys a vapor bath or a heat bath, and the user's head keeps a cool state by the hood pack 100. Namely, since the cool air outputted from the frozen coolant 132 is substantially provided to the user for a long time period, the user can enjoy the bath even when he is exposed to a heat for a long time period. So, it is possible to substantially enjoy the vapor bath and heat bath.
[50] In another embodiment of the present invention, a certain component emitting anion may be provided in the air protrusions 121 together with air, so that the user is provided with anion when wearing the hood pack according to the present invention, it is possible to prevent various adult diseases.
[51] Figure 7 is a perspective view illustrating a hood pack 100' according to another embodiment of the present invention. Figure 8 is a plane view illustrating a hood pack 100' of Figure 7 according to the present invention. Figures 9 and 10 are views illustrating the front and back sides of a hood pack 100' of Figure 7 when it is unfolded according to the present invention.
[52] The hood pack 100' according to another embodiment of the present invention comprises a body 110 for wearing on a user's head, and a cushion part 120 and a cool air part 130 having a plurality of pockets 131 each having a coolant 132 therein. The hood pack 100' has the similar construction with the earlier embodiments of the present invention provided that in the another embodiment of the present invention, the vertical band part 112 of the body 110 is formed in a straight form, not in a cross form. Since the forehead and back head are mainly needed to be cooled, the vertical band part 112 is made in the straight shape for thereby decreasing the volume whereas the horizontal band part 111 maintains the same construction as the earlier embodiment of the present invention.
[53] When the user wears the hood pack 100' as shown in Figure 11, it is possible to substantially cool the head while having a bath.
[54] The hood packs 100 and 100' according to the present invention may be used when having a bath as well as when the user suffers over heat after exercise or cold.
[55] As the present invention may be embodied in several forms without departing from the spirit or essential characteristics thereof, it should also be understood that the above-described examples are not limited by any of the details of the foregoing description, unless otherwise specified, but rather should be construed broadly within its spirit and scope as defined in the appended claims, and therefore all changes and modifications that fall within the meets and bounds of the claims, or equivalences of such meets and bounds are therefore intended to be embraced by the appended claims.
[56]
Industrial Applicability
[57] As described above, the hood pack according to the present invention has the following advantages.
[58] First, since a head heat is cooled using a frozen coolant, it is possible to keep a cool state for a long time period. Since a flexible vinyl material is used to make a body of a hood pack, the material being easy to fold and unfold, it is easy to keep and wear the product of the present invention.
