Preferred Embodiments
The present invention will be explained with reference to the accompanying drawings.
Fig. 1 is a front view illustrating a folding hanger for wall according to a first embodiment of the present invention. In the folding hanger according to the first embodiment of the present invention, a center pin 3 is located at a 1/3 point (first place) of middle folding plates 1 and 9 crossed with a "X" shape. That is, the center pin 3 is located at the 1/3 point (first place) from the top portion of the middle folding plates 1 and 9. Center pins 2 and 4 of the right and left sides are combined with right folding plates 5, 6 and left folding plates 7, 8 which are pivoted with each other.
The right folding plate 5 combined to be pivoting at the top of the middle folding plate 1 is formed to have a 2/3 size of the middle folding plate 1. The right folding plate 6 combined to be pivoting at the bottom of the right folding plate 5 and the middle folding plate 9 is formed to have a 1/3 size of the middle folding plate 1 so that each end part is combined with the right center pin 2 and a bottom pin 10 (the left folding plates 7, 9 and the left center pin 4 are formed in the same way). On the whole, the center pins 2, 3, 4 are located to be crossed up and down.
Fig. 2 is a front view illustrating the folding hanger for wall of Fig. 1 when it is unfolded, and Fig. 3 is a perspective view illustrating the folding hanger for wall of Fig. 1 when it is unfolded.
In a left parallelogram of the unfolded hanger as shown in Figs. 2 and 3, there are four pins 3, 4, 10, 11 that serve as cloth hanger bars. 13, 14 and 15 that represent each length between the left center pin 4 and the bottom pin 10, the bottom pin 10 and the top pin 11 , and the top pin 11 and the center pin 3 are configured to have the almost same interval. As a result, all hanger bars (pins) are not overlapped so that many clothes can be hung over the bars. Preferably, lengths 16, 17, 18 and 19 which have a 1/3 size of the middle folding plates 1 and 9 are the same, and lengths 20, 21, 22 and 23 which have a 2/3 size of the middle folding plates 1 and 9 are the same.
In the left parallelogram, the center pin 3 is located at the 1/3 point from the top of the middle folding plates 1 and 9. The left folding plate 7 has a 2/3 size of the middle folding plates 1 and 9, and the left folding plate 8 has a 1/3 size of the middle folding plates 1 and 9. As a result, the top pin 11 and the bottom pin 10 are not located in the same vertical line so that the clothes hung over the top pin 11 and the bottom pin 10 are not overlapped.
Fig. 4 is a front view illustrating a folding hanger for wall (5 center pins) according to an embodiment of the present invention, and Fig. 5 is a perspective view illustrating the folding hanger for wall of Fig. 4 when it is unfolded. In the folding hanger of this embodiment, "X"-shaped middle folding plates 1 and 9 which have the same size for users who want more hanger bars are continuously connected, and hanger bars (pins 2, 3, 4, 10, 11) are mounted in each combination region. The first center pin 3 is located at the 1/3 (first place) point from the top of the middle folding plates 1 and 9 as described above. The second center pin 3 is located at the 1/3 (second place) point from the bottom of the middle folding plates 1 and 9. The third center pin 3 is located at the 1/3 (first place) point from the top of the middle folding plates 1 and 9. That is, the center pin 3 is combined alternately at the first place and at the second place depending on the order of the middle folding plates 1 and 9.
When the above-described folding hangers of the first and second embodiments are folded, folding plates 1, 6, 7 and 5, 8, 9 which are located on the same plate surface as shown in Figs. 1 and 4 are close to each other without being separated from each other, thereby decreasing the wrapped bulk when the hanger is wrapped and also reducing a keeping space when an unused hanger is kept in a predetermined space of the house or office. Fig. 6 is a front perspective view illustrating a folding hanger for wall according to a third embodiment of the present invention, and Fig. 7 is a bottom view illustrating the folding hanger for wall according to a third embodiment of the present invention. The third embodiment is different from the first and second embodiments in that pins 302, 303, 304, 310 and 311 of the folding hanger are positioned slantly above the vertical direction to plate surfaces of folding plates 301a~301b, 305, 306, 307, 308, 309a~309c. The angle θ between the pins 302, 303, 304, 310, 311 serving as cloth hanger bars and the folding plates 301a~301b, 305, 306, 307, 308, 309a~309c becomes larger than 90° so that clothes can be hung without slipping down.
The third embodiment of the present invention is different from the first and second embodiments where the pins 302, 303, 304, 310, 311 combined at the combination regions of the folding plates 301a~301b, 305, 306, 307, 308, 309a~309c are located leaning toward the center of the plate surfaces of the folding plates 301a~301b, 305, 306, 307, 308, 309a~309c, in that they are located almost at the center (same as the right center pin 302).
As shown in Figs. 6 and 7, each folding plate of the hanger of the third embodiment has a part separated from each other unlike Figs. 1 and 4 where each folding plate is almost adjacent to each other. A buffering member 350 is located between the separated folding plates 301a and 301b, 301c and 306, 309c and 309b, and 309a and 308.
When an impact is applied to the folded hanger (specifically, a lateral force is applied), the folding plates 301a and 301b, 301c and 306, 309c and 309b, and 309a and 308 are prevented from getting bent or broken due to free movement toward the separation space. In other words, the buffering member 350 absorbs the impact to prevent deformation of the hanger.
Meanwhile, each of the pins 302, 303, 304, 310, 311 of the third embodiment has a bottle shape like a soju bottle unlike those of the first and second embodiments. As a result, when hangers are arranged in liquor business, the atmosphere of the liquor business is revived to satisfy various customers. Preferably, the top end of the pins 302,
303, 304, 310, 311 has a shape so that clothes may be hung safely.
The above-described folding hanger according to embodiments of the present invention is folded and attached to have a proper shape depending on the indoor structure and usage when it is hung over the wall. Although the hanger is unfolded at any angle, each of folding plates has a parallelogrammic shape and each combination region (or each edge) is not parallel with each other vertically.
As described above, since each of folding plates combined to be pivoting with each other is not diamond-shaped but parallelogrammic, hanger bars attached to each edge part are not parallel vertically so that clothes are not overlapped when they are hung over the bars. As a result, clothes are not protruded thickly outward, and they are properly arranged while many clothes are hung. Moreover, users can employ the hanger in the same way of the conventional way because the above-described hanger is folded like the conventional art, so that it is not necessary for users to learn how to operate the hanger.
Although it is preferable that the first place is a 1/3 point from the top of the middle folding plate and the second place is a 2/3 point from the top of the middle folding plate, the location of the center pin can be changed if the center pin is stray from the center of the plate surface of the middle folding plate and top and bottom pins are not positioned in the same vertical line.
The number of middle folding plates can be expanded infinitely depending on demand of users although the maximum 3 pairs of the "X"-shaped middle folding plates are explained in the above-described embodiments.
Industrial Applicability
An improved folding hanger for wall according to an embodiment of the present invention has a center pin located at a 2/3 point of a folding plate so that a top hanger is not overlapped with a bottom hanger. As a result, clothes are not protruded thickly outward, and they are properly arranged while many clothes are hung.
