Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung und ein Verfahren zur Wasseraufbereitung, wobei Luft (L) , die einer Belebungsanlage (1) für Abwasser zugeführt wird, mit Hilfe eines Verdichters (3) verdichtet wird. Die Luftzufuhrvorrichtung die den Verdichter (3) mit der Belebungsanlage (1) verbindet, ist mit einer Schlammentwässerungseinrichtung (4) derart gekoppelt, dass Wärme bzw. Energie aus der verdichteten Luft (L) dem in der Schlammentwässerungseinrichtung (4) stattfindenden Schlammtrocknungsprozess zugeführt wird. Durch die Erfindung wird eine verbesserte Wasseraufbereitung ermöglicht und insbesondere eine Energieeinsparung bewirkt.
