Abstract
The present invent refers to a film destined to the stowage of parenteral solution for the sterilization of micro organisms. Its first finality is to replace the flask of low density polyethylene for a bag with the similar procedures of the utilization of transfusion and collection of blood bags.
Description
Descriptive Report of Patent of Invention
Coextruded film in five layers of polypropylene with polyethylene for packaging of parenteral solution
The present invention refers to a film destined to the stowage of parenteral solution for the sterilization of micro organisms.
At present is utilized a flask of injected, opaque aspect, low density polyethylene, utilized for sterilization and stowage of parenteral solution.
In this way, the present invent is intended to replace the flask, with better performance and security, and in its utilization transform in bag, with the similar procedures of the utilization of transfusion and collection of blood bags.
The technical solution presented is the development of the co-extruded 5 layers film, named multi-layer, being its structure composed of the following: external layer: copolymer polypropylene resin; adhesive layer; four polymer linear low density polyethylene; central layer: Mixture composed of linear low density polyethylene plus conventional low density polyethylene; adhesive layer: four polymer linear low density polyethylene; internal layer: terpolymer polypropylene resin. The produced film will be transformed in bag with the use of automatic conventional machine.
Among the advantages of the utilization of this film the predominant are the following: closed system with less risk of hospital infection when utilized on the patient; reduced packaging loss during the packaging process; better final presentation of the product and competitive cost.

CLAIM
Patent of Invention "COEXTRUDED FILM IN 5
LAYERS OF POLIPROPELENE WITH POLYETHYLENE FOR PACKAGING OF PARENTERAL SOLUTION", characterized for a 5 layers co-extruded film, so called multi-layer, being its structure composed of external layer with copolymer polypropylene resin, adhesive layer with 4 polymer linear low density polyethylene, central layer with a mixture composed of linear low density polyethylene plus conventional low density polyethylene; adhesive layer: four polymer linear low density polyethylene; internal layer with terpolymer polypropylene resin.
