Abstract

The invention provides a method of making sensors . In one embodiment the method comprises patterning a sub-wavelenght period grating on a nanoporous film and then depositing a high dielectric constant material on the patterned nanoporous film. In another embodiment the method comprises depositing and patterning a high dielectric constant material on top of a nanoporous film.
