Abstract

The invention relates to an ion signalling and lighting element which can comprise two or more sheets of glass and/or transparent materials which are fused or bonded to one another. According to the invention, the aforementioned sheets are etched with any drawing or shape, said etchings being treated with luminous salts which are deposited therein. In addition, the ionisation electrodes thereof can be disposed inside the channels of the etching or on the periphery of the part. Once the sheets have been fused or bonded to one another, the etchings are sealed and filled with suitably-mixed vapours or noble gases which are blown in through a tube located at any point on the periphery or surface of the part, on which vacuum processes are performed in order to seal the parts at a range of pressures which is varied as a function of the etching and the size of the parts. Said element is supplied with an electronic circuit which ionises the gases or vapours in the etchings, such as to create a fluorescence along the etching or attractive energetic plasma forms that oscillate along the entire etching.

Very different ways of making luminous, tube, with different shapes, or hollow translucent moldings, and their are currently known. finished product, but they stay there, in cold units without life. With the present invention it is intended that the luminous element may have other functions, and other characteristics different from those currently known.
The applicant himself has inquired about the principle that is used in the present invention, reflected in Utility Model 200401611 on Polymorphic Coating of Plasma Plates.
EXPLICACIÓN Y DESCRIPCIÓN DE LA INVENCIÓNEXPLANATION AND DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
To understand and justify the elements characteristic of the invention, both the ways of achieving said luminaires, and some of their embodiments are described.
The object of the present invention can be reached by different routes, one using a flat glass body which will be engraved on one of its faces by the system we believe is relevant, such as acid, sandblasting, mechanical wear, to which later will face a similar body as sandwich, joining them together by fussin or appropriate adhesives, such that the etching performed is maintained internally with one or two communications to the outside to make the relevant vacuum, and enter the relevant products to achieve the proper internal state of the created cameras.
On the other hand, they can be manufactured in series - special bodies with pre-established engraved shapes, so that when faced with each other, the appropriate internal cameras are created.
In the same way they can face each other as a sandwich several bodies between which different internal chambers are created, giving a spectacular depth and colorful effect, - being able to treat and introduce each camera in many different ways.
In one way or another, we will find one or two accesses to each internal sealed chamber of the light element, to incorporate an access and sealed cannula, as well as for the corresponding electrodes, which will be inside the engraving or outside in the perimeter of the piece or external surface.
Once the installation of these elements in the chamber created, the hollow access cannula is used, for the realization of a partial or total vacuum thereof, it will even allow us to alter the atmospheric pressure if desired, then a mixture of noble gases and vapors of inert nature that are susceptible to ionization, that is to emit light after connecting the electrodes and having been exposed to the passage or induction of the electric current of a voltage booster circuit, both alternating and direct current.
Once the light element is sealed with the gas at low pressure inside or at another suitable pressure, and is fed by the electric voltage, it is ionized and produces bright rays and luminous forms inside. "IONIZED GAS IN THIS STATE RECEIVES THE PLASMA NAME", keeping the engraving on the corresponding body that is the one that creates the camera illuminated. If, for example, we put in contact posing the hand or a foot in the glass of the luminaire, it will attract the rays and forms of plasma towards it, also creating beautiful electrical forms, depending on the applied potential, the material and shapes of the electrodes, or the pressures and quantities of existing gases / vapors.
Said plasma light emission can be enhanced, with the fixation inside the luminous element, of doped luminous salts, such as zinc sulphide doped in very different ways. The ionic light element will be powered by one or more electric current transformers depending on their number and power consumption.
