Abstract

A cover opening device for electric water bottle or coffeepot includes a cover main body, a locking member, a startup member and a driving member, the back end of the cover main body is pivoted on bottle body, the locking member is mounted movably on the cover main body and is meshed with corresponding locking mechanism on the bottle body, the startup member is connected with the locking member via the driving member, characterized in: the startup member is provided with a rotating shaft and is pivoted on the cover main body, said driving member is a set of toothed piece and toothed rack which are meshed, the toothed piece is connected fixedly with the rotating shaft of the startup member, the toothed rack is set on the locking member, the toothed piece is meshed with the toothed rack.
