Abstract

This invention relates to methods and security devices (8) for securing objects, particularly when the methods and security devices comprise a device lockable to an object. The invention also relates to systems and methods for allowing users to monitor the status of a plurality of devices, preferably security devices, each locked to a remote object, by a plurality of users wherein each user has a predefined access permission and wherein said access permission is defined in terms of a set of the plurality of portable security devices relating to that user.
