Abstract
The invention relates to a device (5) and a method for monitoring an elastomechanical supporting structure (1), especially a wind wheel of a wind energy installation, comprising a rotor and a tower carrying the rotor. Said device comprises at least one vibration sensor (6) arranged on the supporting structure (1); an evaluation unit (14) for determining momentaneous natural frequencies of the supporting structure (1) on the basis of a sensor signal of the vibration sensor (6), and for determining momentaneous parameters of a rigidity matrix and/or an inertia matrix of the supporting structure (1), which can be parameterised in terms of potentially damageable regions (2, 3, 4) of the original undamaged supporting structure (1), on the basis of the momentaneous natural frequencies; a diagnosis unit (15) for comparing the momentaneous parameters of the rigidity matrix or the inertia matrix with the original parameters of the rigidity matrix or the inertia matrix; and an output unit (16) for emitting a message relating to the state of the supporting structure (1) in the event of any deviation of the momentaneous parameters of the rigidity matrix or the inertia matrix from the original parameters of the rigidity matrix or the inertia matrix. The invention also relates to a method for monitoring an elastomechanical supporting structure by means of one such device.
