Abstract
A utility holder (1) for disguising, storing, protecting and improving the functionality of adult sex aids (2) such as dildos and vibrators is disclosed. When fully configured, the utility holder (1) comprises: an external form that imparts an altered aspect to the sex aid (2) such that its function is disguised, internal elements and associated electronic control circuitry (4, 7) and components that provide: heat to the sex aid, either internally or externally (3); electric current to the rechargeable batteries (10) of electromechanical sex aids; or electric current to one or more radiation (light) sources (11) housed within the holder or embedded within its walls so as to warm the sex aid or render it locatable in a darkened room or to sterilise its surface before use.
Description
UTILITY HOLDER
FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The invention pertains to a device for disguising, storing, protecting and improving the functionality of adult sex aids.
BACKGROUND TO THE INVENTION
Sex toys or aids abound in the market place, the most common being dildos and vibrators. Although they are common, many members of society feel uncomfortable about their display, particularly when they mimic the human genitalia, and, even when hidden from view, users often fear their discovery by children or other family members.
A useful way to circumvent these problems is to alter the form of the sex aid so that it no longer replicates the organ that it is designed to substitute, although it may retain similar size and proportions. In this manner, the sex aid can pass casual scrutiny without its function being immediately apparent.
An even more effective way to conceal the function of the object is to couple it with a receptacle that complements its form in a manner that further diminishes its resemblance to a sex aid. This approach has further advantages in that the receptacle can be adapted to serve a variety of additional useful functions, such as protecting the sex aid from contact with soiled surfaces, warming the sex aid before use, charging the batteries of electromechanical sex aids, sterilising their surfaces, and providing illumination so that the sex aids can be located in the dark.
i
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
According to one aspect of this invention, there is a receptacle of any suitable size and shape that accommodates the sex aid and complements its form so as to disguise its function.
According to a second aspect of this invention, there may be a heating element and associated electronic circuitry within the receptacle to externally warm the sex aid prior to use.
According to a third aspect of this invention, there may be electronic circuitry within the receptacle that provides an electric current to a heating element within the sex aid to warm it internally before use.
According to a fourth aspect of this invention, there may be an AC/DC transformer and associated electronic circuitry within the receptacle that charges the batteries of electromechanical sex aids that operate on rechargeable batteries.
According to a fifth aspect of this invention, there may be electronic circuitry within the receptacle that delivers a DC current from an external AC/DC transformer to the batteries of electromechanical sex aids that operate on rechargeable batteries.
According to a sixth aspect of this invention, there may be other functional inclusions within the receptacle, such as a lamp or lamps that emit visible light or ultraviolet radiation or infrared radiation to permit the sex aid to be easily located in a darkened room and/or to sterilise its surface and/or to warm it.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
The utility holder may be of any suitable size and shape and it can have a variety of operational capabilities. It will be convenient to hereinafter describe a few preferred embodiments of the invention with the reference to the accompanying drawings. The purpose of providing this description is to instruct persons having an interest in the subject matter of this invention on how to carry the invention into practical effect. It is to be clearly understood however that the detailed nature of this specific description does not supersede the generality of the preceding broad description. In the drawings:
Fig 1 is a schematic front view of a utility holder that disguises the function of the sex aid by complementing the form of the sex aid so that the ensemble resembles a flower;
Fig 2 is a schematic longitudinal section through a utility holder that contains a heating coil and associated electronic circuitry to warm the sex aid prior to use;
Fig 3 is a schematic longitudinal section through a utility holder that contains an electronic circuit to deliver an electric current to a heating element within the sex aid to warm it internally before use;
Fig 4 is a schematic longitudinal section through a utility holder that contains an AC/DC transformer and associated electronic circuitry to deliver current by induction to the rechargeable batteries of an electromechanical sex aid (mechanical parts not shown; note that the transformer could be external to the receptacle and connected to it by wires).
Fig 5 is a schematic longitudinal section through a utility holder that contains electric filaments that emit visible light or ultraviolet radiation, or both, in order to render the sex aid locatable in a darkened room or to sterilise its surface before use. The receptacle could also be equipped with a lamp that emits heat in the form of infrared radiation, which would serve to warm the sex aid before use.
