Abstract

La présente invention concerne un procédé permettant d'établir une session d'échange de données multimédia en continu, garantissant à la fois une compatibilité en amont et une compatibilité entre les contrôleurs de limite de session et des communication SIP lors de l'échange d'informations de codage et de décodage de protection des données multimédia. Dans ce procédé, les deux parties échangent des informations relatives à la session, ces informations comprenant une identification de session et d'autres informations de session comportant des informations de codage et de décodage pour les données multimédia en continu. Les informations concernant la session sont codées ou décodées lorsqu'elles sont échangées par les deux parties, de façon que l'identification de session apparaisse sous forme de texte en clair. Seules les informations de codage et de décodage sont codées ou décodées. Ainsi, les paquets comprenant l'identification de session sous forme de texte en clair lors de l'échange peuvent être traités par les pare-feux, ce qui permet l'ouverture d'un port pour le passage des données multimédia en continu lors de la session d'échange entre les deux parties.
