Abstract

A device for generating a pulsed magnetic field, especially in a hand held unit for medial applications. The device comprises an inductor located between first and second load terminals, means for applying a DC voltage to said first terminal, and means for causing at least part of said DC voltage to be applied across said first and second terminals in a pulsed manner.
