Abstract

A method of making a product having a scratch-off function in which the user can scratch or scrape away a coating, layer, film or the like to reveal matter or information previously hidden. The method provides for the provision of a transparent or translucent film (116) to be provided between the matter or information to be hidden and the coating or film to be scratched or scaped off (126). In this way the information or matter which is to be revealed is protected from possible damage by the act of removing the coating.
