Abstract

La présente invention concerne une table (21) composée d'un plateau de table surélevé (24) soutenu à au moins deux de ses extrémités (5) par des supports correspondants (28) et deux ou plusieurs rallonges extensibles (22), chacune d'elles étant associée à un support correspondant (28) par un mécanisme de rétraction dans le prolongement (136, 138). Ce mécanisme (136, 138) permet à la rallonge correspondante (22) de se déplacer d'une position rétractée sous le plateau (24) à une position dans le prolongement où elle trouve dans le même plan que le plateau (24), ce dit déplacement comprenant une rotation autour du support (28) et une rotation autour d'un axe horizontal (X1). Lesdites deux ou plusieurs rallonges (22), quand elles sont rétractées, sont décalées l'une par rapport à l'autre, c’est-à-dire se trouvent à une distance différente du dit plateau (24).
