Abstract

An alarm and remote control system, is disclosed, wherein incidents such as fires, sabotage or robbery are detected and reported to a remote operations room by means of wired or wireless telephone communications. In the operations room, a database containing maps and other data about the location of the alarm is available, and remote control of countermeasures like extinguishing devices can be performed.

The Syndicate of Applicators in Collaboration With The Ministry Of Industry & Interior Ministry Has Adopted A Study To Implement The Project Of Automatic Early Alarm & Remote Control For The Concerned Parties Herein A Practical Experiment Has Been Conducted On 27/5/2002 In The Presence Of Major General Assistant Of Sharkeya Security Manager , Brigadier The Head Of Civil Defense Section, And Engineers Of Syndicate Of Applicators. On Of The Factories Has Been Chosen Randomly, And The Experiment Succeeded, And Was Completely Operated By The Inauguration Of The Egyptian Minister Of Industry On 10/4/2004 In 6th Of October City, In Applicators Wood Factory That Is About 35 Fadans.

2- Moving any blocks or closing fire areas to prevent propagation (Oμtiθ4taL ) this example is applied in the wood factory of Applicators in 6(h of October city.
3- Operating of any automatic systems for firefighting or turning off/on devices, etc in factory shifts, till 100 point optional. ( Oμtloital ).

3- observation units in the fire station building to emphasize the safety of the establishments units and the devices, and operating accuracy. o fine stations through such well trained operators of the system can be able to proceed factory or establishment devices to observe such safety and operating safety, and make protection report through certain observation devices rather than complaints receiving clevises o And make a precaution report from break or stopping connected with a special following sets in the extinguishers city deferent from the reports sets
The system has been tested and operated
The system has been tested and operated in the 6th of October city to extinguish a fire in one of its plants. AU brigadier SAUVI El-
Figure imgf000004_0001
head of Giza police department, had to do was to press a button in the operations room in Giza to extinguish the fire . minister of industry Dr AIi El- SAϊet>i Himself made sure that the test succeeded when he phoned the police department . the board members of the 6th of October city investors association were extremely happy when they made sure that dealing with such potential dangers would be very quick , precisecand efficient. More importantly is that this technology saves three-fourth of the budget dedicated to traditional precautions against fire . for example , the wood factory ( practico ) , one of the Syndicate of Applicators pioneering projects, dedicated a le660.000 budget, and not Ie2.6 million as was usual, to install the early warning system, including the fire extinguishing network. .
Advantages of the system
The most important advantage of this system is that it reduces the involvement of humans in dangerous maintenance operations . it also achieves the remote mechanization of maintenance operations though the main operation room of the civil defense . this means that a machine in the distant city of Aswan, not to say in the near cities of the 6th of October or the 10th of Ramadan , can be maintained via the main center in Cairo .
Generalizing this system eliminates any chance of confusing the names of factories since reporting any danger is done precisely and automatically. A map showing the location of the factory will appear with the report as well as a statement showing the flammable objects, the required extinguishing materials ... etc The warning system does not prøtect plants only, but it also protects uncovered stores of any size, thanks to the sensors and cameras that can be fixed in dangerous places to give an audio and video signal to the authorities concerned this system could be linked to a monitoring room in the ministry for example also, computer sets linked to each other via a network could be put in the offices of all officials ( e/g the offices of the prime minister, the minister of interior , the minister of industry and the heads of security departments in the govemorates ) so that the operation management could be done at the moment when something happens: thus, the right decision could be taken .
In the future
The automatic early warning system and remote control sector , affiliated to the technological s'ectors in the applicators Syndicate, points out that in near future a computer network will be established to link all the govemorates . this system will be linked to a satellite , so that the authorities concerned in all sites can be summoned veiy quickly via a ciystal clear monitor.
Free subscription
An agreement with insurance companies has been reached to cut part of the premiums deign paid dye the companies that subscribe in this system, so that a company or factoiy will pay the premium annually. Hence, investors would not shoulder any new financial burdens.

claims - The invention is a design for a group of sets connects with itself via normal telephone lines or Mobile lines to inform about any accident such as fire, stealing, or penetrating prohibited areas. The components of the group as the following. - A set install in the participated establishment on the last part of the inner alarm system of the establishment and this set conveys and movement feel with it inside the establishment to the outside across telephone lines. - The notification from the previous set reaches accompanied with data base of the accidents inside the establishment+ Geographical maps of the notification location+ nearest pass+ accident area inside the establishment and type of accident fire, or stealing or Penetration or terrorism and in the case of being a fire, the set sends to the places of the fire taps around the accident and this considered new and not existed in the systems of the alarms all over the world. - It has been found a program enables the user inside police operation room to release these taps or open it or open the out doors of the establishment and total remote control. - One set is one line between the protected establishment and police operation room and in the case of multi-sets named as network and it is in Egypt national network for early automatic alarm and remote control after agreement of Egyptian Interior Minister and preserving the right of ownership for the designers.
