Abstract
La présente invention se rapporte à un procédé favorisant des changements rapides de canaux de trains multimédia ainsi que l'accroissement simultané de l'efficacité d'utilisation des ressources de réseau. Un train de données multimédia fait l'objet d'une multi-diffusion aux fins de sa réception par une pluralité de décodeurs requérants. Ce train de données multimédia comprend des paquets contenant des groupes d'images (GOP groups of pictures) qui sont stockés dans un tampon d'un noeud d'accès. Au moins une partie des paquets fait l'objet d'une diffusion unique à partir du noeud d'accès aux fins de sa réception par un nouveau décodeur requérant lors de la réception par le nouveau décodeur requérant d'une demande de réception désignant un identificateur de train de données multimédia correspondant à ce train de données multimédia. Ensuite, le train de données multimédia fait l'objet d'une multi-diffusion à destination du nouveau décodeur après alignement de la transmission des paquets du train de données multimédia de la diffusion unique avec la transmission des paquets du train de données multimédia de la multi-diffusion.
