Abstract

The present invention is to provide an easel for panels which can be both a tetrapod stand having high grounding safety and a tripod stand and display respective panels in the front and the rear. The easel for panels is characterized that a fluctuating panel press assembly which presses the middle of the topside of a panel to fix the panel is installed on a plate mounted with a pair of the top sleeves of the folding front legs and the top sleeve of the rear legs, pins for hanging a panel holder are attached to a pair of the top sleeves of the front legs, a slider with a fastener member sliding upwardly and downwardly is installed on the top sleeve of the rear legs, a pair of the rear legs which have the pins for the panel holder and enable the length of the legs to change and the legs to unfold like a triangle are attached to the slider so that the easel has a tetra pod stand when both the front legs and the rear legs are stretched, however the rear legs are joined together, the easel has a tripod stand and respective panels can be displayed in the front and the rear.

Description

Description
EASEL FOR PANELS
Technical Field
[1] This invention relates an easel for panels and more particularly to an easel which has a tetrapod stand with high grounding safety alterable into a tripod stand and displays two panels at the same time.
Background Art
[2] It is easy to find notice boards for events or signboards for advertising new items.
Wooden easels or aluminum easels are used in such above advertising or display purpose.
[3] Primarily easels are adapted for use by people who paint or sketch as hobby, exercise or profession. The past easels are designed to be a tripod stand having the folding front legs unfolded like a triangle and a folding rear leg added the function which adjusts the slope of a drawing board.
[4] Conventional easels such as the above mentioned type of easels are weak against external force from side direction. It is frequent to collapse in case panels on the conventional easels are positioned in the crowded aisles. I.e. the easels having a tripod stand for panels have low grounding safety.
[5] Considering the said problem, the easel added one more leg, a tetrapod stand is suggested. The easel having a tetrapod stand is that a folding rear leg attached to the center of the back side of a plate is moved to the side of the plate and the same folding rear leg is attached to the opposite side as well. However, altering a tetrapod stand into a tripod stand is impossible and the width of the unfolded rear legs encroaches upon the space of other articles on exhibition and the passing of pedestrians is obstructed.
Disclosure of Invention
Technical Solution
[6] The present invention is to provide an easel for panels which can be both a tetrapod stand having high grounding safety and a tripod stand and display respective panels in the front and the rear.
[7] The easel for panels is achieved that a fluctuating panel press assembly which presses the middle of the topside of a panel to fix the panel is installed on a plate mounted with a pair of the top sleeves of the folding front legs and the top sleeve of the rear legs, pins for hanging a panel holder are attached to a pair of the top sleeves of the front legs, a slider with a fastener member sliding upwardly and downwardly is installed on the top sleeve of the rear legs, a pair of the rear legs which have the pins for the panel holder and enable the length of the legs to change and the legs to unfold like a triangle are attached to the slider so that the easel has a tetra pod stand when both the front legs and the rear legs are stretched, however the rear legs are joined together, the easel has a tripod stand and respective panels can be displayed in the front and the rear.
Advantageous Effects
[8] In a preferred embodiment, the easel can be both a tetrapod stand and a tripod stand. Because of its high grounding safety, the easel having a tetrapod stand is much safer to display panels than the easel having a tripod stand.
Description of Drawings
[9] Fig. 1 is a perspective view of an easel for panel according to the present invention;
[10] Fig. 2 is a back view in unfolded condition;
[11] Fig. 3 is a perspective view in folded condition;
[12] Fig. 4 is a side view with panels displayed in both sides in unfolded condition;
Best Mode
[13] In Fig. 1, the easel according to the present invention is that a fluctuating panel press assembly (4) which presses the middle of the topside of a panel to fix the panel is installed on a plate (1) mounted with a pair of the top sleeves of the folding front legs (2) and the top sleeve of the rear legs (3), pins (6) for hanging a panel holder (5) are attached to a pair of the top sleeves of the front legs (2) and an adjuster (9) with a fastener member (8) fastening the length of the front legs (7) adjusted is mounted with a pair of the top sleeves of the front legs. The plate (1) is equipped with a fastener member (10) fastening the panel press assembly (4).
[14] In a preferred embodiment, the present invention allows that the slider (20) with the fastener member (21) is mounted with the bottom end of the top sleeve (3) of the rear legs so that the fastener member (21) fastens the slider at the desired position, a pair of the folding rear legs (22) are hinged on the slider (20) to stretch in arranged range and pins (25 in Fig. 2) are attached to the adjuster (24) mounted with the upper sleeves (23) of the rear legs (22) to display the panel holder (26).
[15] In Fig. 2, graduations (29) are indicated on the surface of the down sleeves (28) of the rear legs (22). The graduations (29) adjust the slope of the easel with the length change of the down sleeves (28) when the rear legs (22) are stretched and the width of the rear legs according to the size of panels expected to be display on the rear legs (22) at the same time.
[16] Referring to Fig. 3, in the folded condition of the front legs (7), the rear legs (22) and the panel press assembly (4), the fastening members (8, 21) are unfastened to stretch the front legs and then the slider (20) is set down in the lower end of the top sleeve (3) of the rear legs and fixed again by the fastening members (8, 21). The rear legs from the slider (20) are stretched to the both sides. Herein, stretching the front legs (7) and the rear legs (22) includes stretching the down sleeves.
[17] Like the above mentioned embodiment, the front legs (7) and the rear legs (22) stretched are grounded on the earth forming identical shape with Fig.4 in a side view, the respective panel holders (5, 26) are hung on the pins (6) of the front legs (7) and the pins (25) of the rear legs horizontally, the respective panels (a, b) are put thereto and the front legs (7) and the rear legs (22) support the panels.
[18] According to the embodiment, a pair of the front legs and the rear legs stretched are a tetrapod stand which is much safer to display panels than a tripod stand.
[19] By adding pins for panels (25) in the rear legs (22), the panels can be displayed simultaneously or optionally in the front and the rear thus the easel for panels can display panels twice as many as the conventional easels display in the small space.
[20] The slope of the panel in the front legs (7) and the rear legs (22) is able to adjust by the angle of a space between the rear legs (22) and the length of the front and the rear legs (7, 22).
[21] The present invention can be alterable into easels for paintings because it is similar to easels for paintings and it is also usable only one of both side.
