Abstract

Provided is a dress having a lumbar length automatic adjuster. The lumbar length automatic adjuster includes an expansion and contraction jig and a guide jig. The expansion and contraction jig includes a body, two inserting holes, a guide groove, two compression coil springs, and fixing holes. The guide jig includes a vertical portion, horizontal portions, a mount cap, a mount hole, and a cover cap having a mount rod. Accordingly, the dress is prevented from being corroded and oxidized in all kinds of drugs or detergents but maintains elasticity, replacement and repairing of components facilitates, and a label may be to be attached on the automatic adjuster to advertise an image of a trademark and make a beautiful sight.

Description

DRESS HAVING LUMBAR LENGTH AUTOMATIC ADJUSTER
Technical Field
The present invention relates to a dress having a lumbar length automatic adjuster. More particularly, the present invention relates to a dress having a lumbar length automatic adjuster, in which the waist hem of a pair of trousers or the wrist or waist portion of a top cloth expands or contracts automatically freely to fit to a corresponding size of a waist of a wearer according to the motion or the growth of the wearer's body without the separate adjustment to be pressurized to the body with a constant elastic force.
Background Art Generally, in the case of the underwear or the gym suit, the lumbar region of a pair of trousers is formed to have elasticity with a rubber band or a tightening string.
However, such a rubber band induces a comfortable feeling when a wearer wears a dress employing the rubber band, and an easy cut when a dress designer cuts a cloth. But, such rubber bands are not mostly applied to a suit of a high quality material such as the Western style clothes or the school uniform.
The suit which employs a rubber band gives a preconception of a cheap suit. In the case of a suit made of a special material which requires for not a general laundry but a special washing such as a dry cleaning, a cleaning drug to be used for cleaning erodes the rubber band, to thereby make the rubber band expand or the elasticity of the rubber band disappear. Particularly, in the case of the school uniform, the length thereof can be increased to a degree but the size of the waist is very limited to some extents according to the fast growth of teenagers at a growth period. Accordingly, it causes to burden the family economy to buy a new school uniform again. In order to solve this problem, there have been proposed many kinds of clothes employing a lumbar length adjuster.
However, in the case of Korea Utility Model Application No. 20-1998-0001928 corresponding to Korea Utility Model Publication No. 20-1998-0006279 (1998.04.30) entitled "Lumbar length control unit of school uniform trousers" and Korea Utility Model Application No. 20-2004-0004123 corresponding to Korea Utility Model Registration No. 20-0367870-0000 (2004.11.05) entitled "Trousers with lumbar length adjuster," both sides of the front surface in the waist hem are divided and thus the waist hem is separated into the inner end and the outer end between which an adjuster is interposingly mounted. This is nothing but the application of the banding unit used for the existing waist band and causes a problem that a wearer should adjust the waist band.
Moreover, since the waist hem adjustment is freely performed but the adjusted waist hem is fixed, a comfortable feeling of elasticity is not given to the wearer.
In the case of Korea Utility Model Application No. 20-2002-0000042 corresponding to Korea Utility Model Registration No. 20-0270959-0000 (2002.03.25) entitled "Extension joint structure of waist hem for trousers" and Korea Utility Model Application No. 20-2003-0036644 corresponding to Korea Utility Model Registration No. 20-0342596-0000 (2004.02.09) entitled "Hidden type waist size correction structure of trousers," structure of connecting a rubber band with elasticity with both divided ends is employed to give a comfortable feeling of wearing the trousers with elasticity. However, the rubber band erodes due to the water washing and drying, or the dry-cleaning using the frequent volatile detergent or drug, or the elasticity of the rubber is decreased due to the repeated contraction and expansion of the rubber band. It is very hard and difficult to replace an old rubber band with a new one .
Disclosure of the Invention To solve the above problems, it is an object of the present invention to provide a dress having a lumbar length automatic adjuster which is not corroded and oxidized in all kinds of drugs or detergents but maintains elasticity.
It is another object of the present invention to provide a dress having a lumbar length automatic adjuster enabling replacement and repairing of components.
It is still another object of the present invention to provide a dress having a lumbar length automatic adjuster on which a label can be attached to thus advertise an image of a trademark and make a beautiful sight.
To accomplish the above object of the present invention, according to an aspect of the present invention, there is provided a dress having a lumbar length automatic adjuster in which a round type connected body is divided into two inner and outer ends according to the body of a wearer and the divided inner and outer ends are interconnected to be expanded and contracted, the dress having the lumbar length automatic adjuster comprising an expansion and contraction j ig and a guide j ig, wherein the expansion and contraction jig comprises: a body which is mounted on the end of the inner end, and which has a predetermined length and a constant thickness in the longitudinal direction of the ends; two inserting holes which are formed at a constant interval in the longitudinal direction of the body.; a guide groove 33 which is cut out on the front surface of the body by a predetermined depth in the longitudinal direction and which is formed so that both corresponding sides of the inserting holes are partially opened; two compression coil springs which are inserted into the inserting holes; two caps which are formed in order to close the opening portions of the inserting holes; and fixing holes which are formed in both sides of the body in order to be fixed with the inner end, and wherein the guide jig comprises: a vertical portion which is inserted into the guide groove; horizontal portions which are extended at the ends of the vertical portion in the perpendicular both sides and are formed in correspondence to the ends of the compression coil springs which are inserted into the guide groove; a mount cap which is formed at the outermost end of the vertical portion and is horizontally extended, and which adheres closely to the outer side of the expansion and contraction jig; a mount hole which is formed on the mount cap and is extended into the vertical portion; and a cover cap having a mount rod which is inserted into the outer side of the outer end and is inserted into and fixed to the mount hole.
Preferably, on the bottom surface at both ends of the expansion and contraction jig is formed a mount rib which is extended by a predetermined length in the longitudinal direction, and pin fixing grooves which are formed at both sides of the mount rib, so that the expansion and contraction jig is fixed to and mounted on the inner end by pins corresponding to the interval of the pin fixing grooves .
Preferably, the dress having a lumbar length automatic adjuster further comprises a label mount portion having the same width as that of the end at the outer end and extended by a predetermined length, in which the end is rounded and a logo display is formed in the front surface thereof.
According to another aspect of the present invention, there is also provided a lumbar length automatic adjuster comprising: an expansion and contraction jig and a guide jig, wherein the expansion and contraction jig comprises: a body which is mounted on the end of the inner end, and which has a predetermined length and a constant thickness in the longitudinal direction of the ends; two inserting holes which are formed at a constant interval in the longitudinal direction of the body; a guide groove which is cut out on the front surface of the body by a predetermined depth in the longitudinal direction and which is formed so that both corresponding sides of the inserting holes are partially opened; two compression coil springs which are inserted into the inserting holes; two caps which are formed in order to close the opening portions of the inserting holes; and fixing holes which are formed in both sides of the body in order to be fixed with the inner end, and wherein the guide jig comprises: a vertical portion which is inserted into the guide groove; horizontal portions which are extended at the ends of the vertical portion in the perpendicular both sides and are formed in correspondence to the ends of the compression coil springs which are inserted into the guide groove; a mount cap which is formed at the outermost end of the vertical portion and is horizontally extended, and which adheres closely to the outer side of the expansion and contraction jig; a mount hole which is formed on the mount cap and is extended into the vertical portion; and a cover cap having a mount rod which is inserted into the outer side of the outer end and is inserted into and fixed to the mount hole.
The automatic adjuster according to the present invention is applied to the waist hem or sleeve of a dress, to thereby prevent the dress from being corroded and oxidized in all kinds of drugs or detergents but maintain elasticity, to thereby enable replacement and repairing of components, and to thereby enable a label to be attached on the automatic adjuster to advertise an image of a trademark and make a beautiful sight.

Best Mode for Carrying out the Invention
Hereinbelow, a dress having a lumbar length automatic adjuster according to preferred embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings FIGs. 1 through 5, respectively.
FIG. 1 is a disassembled perspective view showing a lumbar length automatic adjuster according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 2 is a view showing operational states according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention .
Referring to FIGs. 1 and 2, a dress having a lumbar length automatic adjuster according to the present invention includes a round type connected body which is divided into two inner and outer ends 1 and 2 according to the body of a wearer so that the divided inner and outer ends 1 and 2 are interconnected to be expanded and contracted. The lumbar length automatic adjuster includes an expansion and contraction jig 3 and a guide jig 4. The expansion and contraction jig 3 includes a body 31 which is mounted on the end of the inner end 1, and which has a predetermined length and a constant thickness in the longitudinal direction of the ends. The expansion and contraction jig 3 includes two inserting holes 32 which are formed at a constant interval in the longitudinal direction of the body 31.
The expansion and contraction jig 3 includes a guide groove
33 which is cut out on the front surface of the body 31 by a predetermined depth in the longitudinal direction and which is formed so that both corresponding sides of the inserting holes 32 are partially opened.
The expansion and contraction jig 3 includes two compression coil springs 34 which are inserted into the inserting holes 32, two caps 35 which are formed in order to close the opening portions of the inserting holes 32, and fixing holes 36 which are formed in both sides of the body 31 in order to be fixed with the inner end.
Meanwhile, the guide jig 4 includes a vertical portion 41 which is inserted into the guide groove 33.
The guide jig 4 includes horizontal portions 42 which are extended at the ends of the vertical portion 41 in the perpendicular both sides and are formed in correspondence to the ends of the compression coil springs 34 which are inserted into the guide groove 33 .
The guide jig 4 includes a mount cap 43 which is formed at the outermost end of the vertical portion 41 and is horizontally extended, and which adheres closely to the outer side of the expansion and contraction jig 3.
The guide jig 4 includes a mount hole 44 which is formed on the mount cap 43 and is extended into the vertical portion 41, and a cover cap 46 having a mount rod 45 which is inserted into the outer side of the outer end 2 and is inserted into and fixed to the mount hole 44.
The expansion and contraction jig 3 is adjusted at the inner end 1 and the guide jig 4 is adjusted at the outer end 2. Thus, the adjuster including the expansion and contraction jig 3 and the guide jig 4 is expanded and contracted by the compression coil spring 34.
It is preferable that the expansion and contraction jig 3 and the guide jig 4 are made of stainless steel, aluminium alloy, or synthetic resin, etc. , which has a strong corrosion resistance, in order to prevent corrosion and have a stable durability. Moreover, in order to assemble the expandable and contractable adjuster including the expansion and contraction jig 3 and the guide jig 4, the guideline jig 4 is inserted into the inserting holes 32 in the expansion and contraction jig 3, and the inserting holes 32 are closed by a cap 35, respectively. Moreover, such a configuration has the advantage that function of the compression coil springs 34 may not be rarely- damaged except for damage of an inner compression coil springs 34.
In the case that the length adjustment exceeding the compression limit of the compression coil spring 34 mounted on the guide jig 4 is needed, the guide jig 4 may be repositioned and reassembled.
FIG. 3 is a disassembled perspective view showing coupling of an expansion and contraction jig according to another preferred embodiment of the present invention. Referring to FIG. 3, on the bottom surface at both ends of the expansion and contraction jig
3 is formed a mount rib which is extended by a predetermined length in the longitudinal direction, and pin fixing grooves which are formed at both sides of the mount rib, so that the expansion and contraction jig 3 is fixed to and mounted on the inner end 1 by pins corresponding to the interval of the pin fixing grooves.
The FIG.3 embodiment has an advantage of more simply mounting the expansion and contraction jig than a method of mounting the expansion and contraction jig using a thread, and an excellent effect in view of stiffness.
FIG. 4 is a partial perspective view showing a dress having an automatic adjuster according to another preferred embodiment of the present invention. Since the inner end 1 and the outer end 2 are spaced therebetween at the state where the waist band is not worn, it is not so good in view of an aesthetic point. In order to solve these problems, referring to FIG. 4, the lumbar length automatic adjuster according to the present invention further includes a label mount portion 5 having the same width as that of the end at the outer end and extended by a predetermined length, in which the end is rounded and a logo display 51 is formed in the front surface thereof.
Therefore, the FIG. 4 embodiment may obtain an advertizing effect. In addition, the outer end 2 and the inner end 1 can be treated so that the gap between the outer end 2 and the inner end 1 which may be possibly determined as deformity of a design cannot be seen.
It is also preferable that the label mount portion 5 is made of rubber of silicon which would not become well crumpled. FIG. 5 shows an usage of a lumbar length automatic adjuster according to the present invention being mounted on a pair of trousers. Referring to FIG. 5, the waist hem of a pair of trousers expands or contracts automatically freely to fit to a corresponding size of a waist of a wearer according to the motion or the growth of the wearer's body without the separate adjustment to be pressurized to the body with a constant elastic force.
As described above, the automatic adjuster according to the present invention is applied to the waist hem or sleeve of a dress, to thereby prevent the dress from being corroded and oxidized in all kinds of drugs or detergents but maintain elasticity, to thereby enable replacement and repairing of components, and to thereby enable a label to be attached on the automatic adjuster to advertise an image of a trademark and make a beautiful sight. As described above, the present invention has been described with respect to the particularly preferred embodiments. However, the present invention is not limited to the above embodiments, and it is possible for one who has an ordinary skill in the art to make various modifications and variations, without departing off the spirit of the present invention. Thus, the protective scope of the present invention is not defined within the detailed description thereof but is defined by the claims to be described later and the technical spirit of the present invention.
Industrial Applicability
As described above, the present invention provides to a dress having a lumbar length automatic adjuster in which the dress includes suits, school uniforms, casual wears, etc., which include a pair of trousers or sleeves.

Claims

What is claimed is:
1. A dress having a lumbar length automatic adjuster in which a round type connected body is divided into two inner and outer ends according to the body of a wearer and the divided inner and outer ends are interconnected to be expanded and contracted, the dress having the lumbar length automatic adjuster comprising an expansion and contraction jig and a guide jig, wherein the expansion and contraction jig comprises: a body which is mounted on the end of the inner end, and which has a predetermined length and a constant thickness in the longitudinal direction of the ends; two inserting holes which are formed at a constant interval in the longitudinal direction of the body; a guide groove which is cut out on the front surface of the body by a predetermined depth in the longitudinal direction and which is formed so that both corresponding sides of the inserting holes are partially opened; two compression coil springs which are inserted into the inserting holes; two caps which are formed in order to close the opening portions of the inserting holes; and fixing holes which are formed in both sides of the body in order to be fixed with the inner end, and wherein the guide jig comprises: a vertical portion which is inserted into the guide groove; horizontal portions which are extended at the ends of the vertical portion in the perpendicular both sides and are formed in correspondence to the ends of the compression coil springs which are inserted into the guide groove; a mount cap which is formed at the outermost end of the vertical portion and is horizontally extended, and which adheres closely to the outer side of the expansion and contraction jig; a mount hole which is formed on the mount cap and is extended into the vertical portion; and a cover cap having a mount rod which is inserted into the outer side of the outer end and is inserted into and fixed to the mount hole .

The dress having a lumbar length automatic adjuster according to claim 1, wherein on the bottom surface at both ends of the expansion and contraction jig is formed a mount rib which is extended by a predetermined length in the longitudinal direction, and pin fixing grooves which are formed at both sides of the mount rib, so that the expansion and contraction jig is fixed to and mounted on the inner end by pins corresponding to the interval of the pin fixing grooves.
3. The dress having a lumbar length automatic adjuster according to claim 1, further comprising a label mount portion having the same width as that of the end at the outer end and extended by a predetermined length, in which the end is rounded and a logo display is formed in the front surface thereof.
