The invention relates to an antistatic textile surface, particularly a seat cover for motor vehicles, in whose covering material ungrounded conductive filaments (6) are incorporated.
Description
The invention relates to an antistatic textile surface for motor vehicles, in particular a binding and / or color-patterned seat cover.
It is a well known fact that the increased use of plastic textiles inside the vehicle can lead to electrostatic charging of automobile seats and vehicle occupants. This can lead to unpleasant electric shocks, which not only cause an unpleasant feeling in people, but can also cause damage to electronic devices and in extreme cases also to the ignition of explosive fuel gases. Known manner, the electrostatic behavior of automobile seats is also dependent on the weather conditions and clothing of the user.
To avoid electrostatic charge attempts have been made to arrange electrically conductive wires in textile surfaces and to ground these wires via electrical lines to the body. Such groundings are not satisfactory in relation to the effort, and complex in structure and prone to failure.
Furthermore, it is known to make textile surfaces conductive in that conductive fabric yarns are woven, as disclosed, for example, in EP 546 145 B1 for a transport bag. The mutually parallel electrically conductive threads are interconnected by crossing electrical threads and caused by grounding lines a derivative of electrostatic charges. The conductive threads are disposed on the surfaces of the fabric so that conductive contact is also made between the filler and the ground.
From DE 18 10 060 A1 it is known to make fabrics for clothing purposes antistatic by processing conductive yarn together with the other non-conductive yarn. The applications shown in the examples show Only fabrics in which the guidelines come to lie outside, so are visible.
Eine solche Isolation ist jedoch unerwünscht, wenn Oberflächenladung von der Person abgeleitet werden soll.DE 44 02 578 A1 relates to antistatic protective clothing with an insulating effect against the person to be protected when the clothing comes into contact with live objects. However, such insulation is undesirable if surface charge is to be derived from the person.
The present invention is based on the surprising finding that the desired antistatic effect can also be brought about in the interior of the vehicle and in particular in seat covers for motor vehicles by incorporating patterned and largely invisible ungrounded guide threads in the cover fabric. This is surprising and unexpected, as the experts have previously believed that antistatic effects in vehicle seat covers can be brought about only by a corresponding dissipation of electricity and therefore a grounding.
In the subject invention, the antistatic effect to be given, although no grounding takes place. The guides should be largely invisible and not exposed to abrasion by the seated person. The optical pattern design should not be affected.
According to further features of the invention, the guide threads are co-woven, knitted or knitted into the freely designable textile surface with receipt of all other optical and technical properties. Preferably, the guides are launched in the textile surface under binding points or arranged identically coiled under threads. The guides preferably run in the core of the textile. In particular, the guides are arranged over their course at the contact surface of the user person. The guides can be arranged either approximately parallel to each other or arranged crossing each other. Distances up to 25mm between the parallel guides are advantageous. For seat covers, the areas of the seat center panel, the side panel or both areas should be provided with guidelines. The same applies to the seat back. The guidelines can be used as part of the textile surface such as polyester, polypropylene or polyamide yarns with metal coating, especially silver coating, his. Alternatively, the guides consist of polymers doped with metal, carbon or other conductive materials.
Fig. 4 zeigt ein Fadenverlaufsmodell für ein Gewebe. Fig. 5 zeigt eine Strickbindung mit einem Leitfaden. Fig. 6 zeigt ein einfädiges Vollplüsch. The invention will be explained in more detail with reference to the drawings. Fig. 1 shows a vehicle seat schematically in side view and Fig. 2 is a plan view of the backrest and the seat. Fig. 3 shows schematically a section through a textile surface on a vehicle seat. 4 shows a thread progression model for a fabric. Fig. 5 shows a knit binding with a guide. Fig. 6 shows a monofilament full plush.
As an example of inventive antistatic textile surfaces this will be explained with reference to a seat cover. However, such textile surfaces can also be of a different kind, such as, for example, door textiles, carpets and all equipment that can lead to static charges.
The seat comprises a seat back 1 and the seat surface 2. The seat is connected via a corresponding seat base 3 with the vehicle body, not shown here. The antistatic textile surfaces 4 are formed here by the seat cover. At the very least, that part of the seat cover drawn with a thick line should be designed as an antistatic textile surface which contacts the user person. In the case of a vehicle seat, these may be the seat center web 5, the side wall 10 or both, which are shown in FIG. 2 with their boundaries.
In FIG. 2, for example, the textile surface on the seat back 1 is provided with mutually parallel guide threads 6. To explain a variant of this, the guides 6 are arranged crossing each other in the seat 2.
Fig. 3 shows schematically a section through the seat cover with underlying upholstery of the seat. The antistatic textile surface 4 may be a woven, knitted or knitted fabric. The guides 6, one of which is shown here in side view, is part of the textile surface and is incorporated in such a way that it is removed from the contact surface 7 to the user person. With this arrangement it is avoided that the guides 6 lose their conductivity by abrasion or otherwise destroyed. Below the antistatic textile surface 4 is usually a support composite 8 and below the padding. 9 The textile surfaces are preferably made of synthetic fibers or mixtures with a high proportion of synthetic fibers. The guidelines are preferably equipped so that they can be woven or mitgestrickt according to the pattern during weaving or knitting with the other fibers. The arrangement of the guides can also be based on the pattern distances and be guided horizontally or vertically and also crossing. All guidelines can be used that have the necessary suppleness and high conductivity. Preferably, the guides are polyester or polyamide yarns of mono- or multifilaments coated with silver or other highly conductive metal. The arrangements of the guides to each other need not be strictly parallel, but may also vary according to the fabric patterns and the desired geometry. It is desirable that the textiles do not make any relevant changes in the density of the guides so that the binding and the thread size of the guides should be selected accordingly. Preferably, the guides are launched under bonding points or the guides run with threads gleichbindig with threads. It is not necessary to make connections between the individual guides in the form of a network structure, but this can be advantageous.
The otherwise taken for granted grounding of the guides is not required, so that the guides in the antistatic textile can be arranged electrically isolated.
The guide preferably has a small diameter which does not exceed 0.30 mm. If it has previously been emphasized that the guides should as far as possible not rest on the contact surface 7 of the textile surface, it is preferred that at least 80% of the extension of the guide threads be covered by the pattern-forming threads.
006/002162As can be seen on the thread progression model fabric of FIG. 4, the guide 6 is entered in such a way that, according to the pattern, it binds the same with the following thread, but does not come to rest on exposed surfaces. The selection of the yarn size of the guide is dependent on the dimension of the pattern thread, but has a maximum diameter of 20% of this pattern thread. This has the consequence that the subsequent thread is struck against the previous pattern thread 006/002 16 2
und durch Volumen den Leitfaden überdeckt. Ein Eindringen des Leitfadens in die äußeren Wirrlagen des Musterfaden ist dabei gewünscht und vorteilhaft.and covered by volume the guide. An intrusion of the guide into the outer Wirrlagen the pattern thread is desired and advantageous.
In Fig. 5, a knit binding of a two-ply plated Flachoptikgestrickes is shown. There, the guide 6 binds concurrently with the main thread 12. The surface-forming pile threads 12, 14 are performed in parallel only over the course of mesh incorporation with the ground thread and cover together with this guide from. Due to the force potential, which in turn is caused by the diameter difference of at most 1: 5 and which is favored by the bias differences of the threads during feeding, the guide forms the smallest possible radius and slides between the threads or the back of the stitch. The binding points at the mesh feet 15 are additionally covered by the exiting pile threads.
In Fig. 6 it is shown on the example of a single-ply full plush that the guide 6 in turn with the cohesion-guaranteeing basic thread 12 mitbindig runs. The embedments in the basic mesh are again covered by the position of the basic thread and additionally on the finished textile by the cut velor handles 16, so that the guide does not come to lie in exposed areas.
