Abstract

A nestable shopping cart with child carrying apparatus suitable for storage and conveyance of a conventional capacity of food or other products can also transport and entertain at least one child. The nestable shopping cart has at least one storage basket, as well as a child carrier coupled forward and external of the basket. The child carrier simulates a vehicle to provide entertainment for the child passenger. The combined child carrier and storage basket forming the nestable shopping cart with child carrying apparatus are nestable within other similar nestable shopping carts with child carrying apparatuses to reduce storage space required when the carts are not in active use.
