Abstract

A cased hose reel comprising a drum (3) for carrying hose (2) and a casing (1) within which the drum (3) is mounted. The casing (1) of the reel comprises a hose viewing portion through which hose (2) may be viewed as the hose (2) is wound onto the drum (3). The hose viewing portion is distinct from a hose outlet window (14) which provides a path through the (casing (1) for hose (2).
