Abstract
Pedicle screw (2) includes screw rod (10), U-shaped head (20) with screw part (22) and a coupling section (30), which is composed of rod support section (32) and bolt (31). Protrusions (32b) in the rod support section (32) are interlinking with guide slots (23) in the screw part (22). Injection holes (11) communicating with the hollow section (13) of screw rod (10) are aligned with feeding hole (12) formed in the head (20). Bone cement injection device is composed of cannula (40) and impactor (50). Pedicle screw coupling member (42) at one end of cannula (40) communicates with feeding hole (12). Injector coupling member (43) for inserting the bone cement is connected to handle (44) at the other end of cannula (40). Bone cement is squeezed forward through cannula (40) by pushing handle (52) of impactor (50).
