Abstract
A washer/dryer (1) comprising - a washing tank (2) - a cleaning agent drawer (2) where such cleaning agents as detergent, softener etc. are placed and where cleaning agents are mixed with the water and, -a distributor (3) which is positioned on the cleaning agent drawer (2) and whereby water is routed to the cleaning agent drawer (2) , and whereby the distributor (3) comprises a lid (5) having one or more than one split (15) and a body (4) incorporating one or more than one compartment ( 6 ) , one or more than one channel (8) wherein water flows and whereby water flow is routed, one or more than one wall (7) bounding the compartment ( 6 ) and/or the channel (8) and, one or more than one projection (14) which fits to the mentioned splits (15) on the lid (5) as the lid (5) is placed onto the body(4) and whereby the lid(5) is fastened by melting the protion that goes through the splits (15) and continues to the other side of the lid (5) via heat treatment .
Description
A WASHER / DRYER
This invention relates to a washer / dryer comprising a distributor which is positioned on a cleaning agent drawer that facilitates the transfer of cleaning agents to the washing tank.
In the current state of the art, in washers / dryers, cleaning agent drawers are utilized whereby cleaning agent is transferred to the washing tank after it is mixed with the washing water.
In the current state of the art, in the British Patent Application GB2104109, a description is given of a washer which comprises a cleaning agent drawer wherein means are provided to mix water and detergent via a distributor and to transfer the mentioned mixture to the washing tank.
In the current state of the art, in the German Patent Application DE19535203, a description is given of holes located on a distributor which is positioned on a cleaning agent drawer.
In the current state of the art, in the German Patent Application DE19859984, a description is given of an application wherein a lid is mounted onto the body of a distributor which is positioned on the cleaning agent drawer. In that embodiment, nails on the lid fit to the splits formed on the mentioned body and consequently, the lid is closed onto the body of the distributor.
The object of the present invention is the realization of a washer / dryer comprising a distributor positioned on the cleaning agent drawer the body and the lid of which distributor are easily assembled.
The washer / dryer designed to fulfill the objectives of the present invention is illustrated in the attached figures where :

The washer / dryer in accordance with the present invention comprises a washing tank (13), a water inlet channel (9) whereby water that is to be transferred to the washing tank (13) is obtained from the water source, a cleaning agent drawer (2) where such cleaning agents as detergent, softener etc. are placed and which incorporates one or more than one cleaning agent chamber whereby cleaning agents are mixed with the water supplied from the water inlet channel (9), a distributor (3) which is positioned on the cleaning agent drawer (2) and whereby water obtained from a water source via the water inlet channel (9) is routed to the cleaning agent drawer (2) and, one or more than one water outlet channel (11) whereby the mixture
of water and cleaning agents is transferred from the cleaning agent drawer (2) to the washing tank (13) (Figure 1 , Figure 2 and Figure 3).
The distributor (3) comprises a water inlet opening (10) where the water inlet channel (9) is connected to, a body (4) and a lid (5) mounted onto the body (4) such that said body (4) is completely covered (Figure 4).
The body (4) comprises one or more than one compartment (6) having the right dimensions that enable the compartment coincide with the top of the cleaning agent chambers comprised by the cleaning agent drawer (2), one or more than one channel (8) inside each of the compartments (6) wherein water flows and whereby water flow is routed, one or more than one wall (7) bounding the compartment (6) and / or the channel (8) and, one or more than one projection (14) formed on the mentioned wall (7) such that a certain distance is left in between (Figure 5).
The lid (5) comprises wetting holes (12) in varying sizes and number whereby necessary water is transferred to each cleaning agent chamber in a controlled manner and, one or more than one split (15) where the afore-mentioned projections (14) on the walls (7) fit (Figure 6).
Projections (14) on the walls (7) are so long that they fit into the splits (15) on the lid (5) and that certain portion runs over the lid (5). For that case, the lid (5) is attached onto the body (4) such that the projections (14) pass through the splits (15). The portions of the projections (14) that run over the lid (5) are melted by applying a heat treatment solely onto the projections (14) which extend to the other side of the lid (5) and, the melted portion of the projections (14) are left on the lid (5) wherein the lid (5) fits onto the walls (7) (the situation of the projections (14) which continue to the other side of the lid (5) after they are melted, is illustrated in Figure 4.). Thereby, by assembling the lid (5) and the body (4) in such a manner that they can not be separated, it is achieved to prevent the motion of the lid (5) both on the horizontal and the vertical planes.
As the lid (5) is fastened onto the body (4), since the projections (14) are positioned at a distance in such a way that the water transfer between the channel (8) and the compartment (6) where the said channel (8) is located is prevented to take place
between the walls (7) and the lid (5) located onto the compartment (6), there is no space between the lid (5) and the walls (4) on the body (4). Therefore, water that moves along the channel (8) can not pass to other sections through the area between the lid (5) and the walls (7).
By means of the distributor (3) comprised by the washer / dryer (1) in accordance with the present invention, it is achieved to save time and energy by solely melting the projections (14) which run over the lid (5) in lieu of melting the entire surfaces of the body (4) and the lid (4) of the distributor (3).
Claims
1 - A washer / dryer (1 ) comprising
a washing tank (2), a cleaning agent drawer (2) where such cleaning agents as detergent, softener etc. are placed and where cleaning agents are mixed with the water and, a distributor (3) which is positioned on the cleaning agent drawer
(2) and whereby water is routed to the cleaning agent drawer (2),
and characterized by a distributor (3) which comprises a lid (5) having one or more than one split (15) and a body (4) incorporating one or more than one compartment (6), one or more than one channel (8) wherein water flows and whereby water flow is routed, one or more than one wall (7) bounding the compartment (6) and / or the channel (8) and, one or more than one projection (14) which fits to the mentioned splits (15) on the lid (5) as the lid (5) is placed onto the body (4) and whereby the lid (5) is fastened by melting the portion that goes through the splits (15) and continues to the other side of the lid (5) via heat treatment.
