FLUSH TYPE SPRINKLER HEAD [Technical Field]
<1> The present invention relates to a flush type sprinkler head, and more particularly, to a flush type sprinkler head which discharges fire extinguishing water by making a glass blub fuse sense heat and broken when a fire starts.

<3> As is generally known, a sprinkler is a fixed equipment which is installed in the ceiling and wall of the fire protection object(eg. a building) by the fire extinguishing equipment standard and extinguishes a fire on the occasion of a fire by making`a sprinkler head and a sensor sense a glaze, operate a water pump and give a fire alarm at the same time, then the sprinkler head emitting water which was pressurized in the piping.
<4> People have used a conventional sprinkler head wherein from the state of sealing a body, a fuse made of fusional lead dissolves into destruction on the occasion of a fire and then a water jet part which is joined with the body connected to the piping descends and emits pressurized fire extinguishing water. In the conventional sprinkler, a compressed spring is installed standing in the upper frame which is combined housing an upper water jet part or a water jet part.
<5> Like this, because the compressed spring is used to make the water jet part descend it is difficult to function swiftly and there is an occasion when the spring malfunctions. Additionally, because the compressed spring is installed standing the total length of the sprinkler head is long. Thus it was a problem that it malfunctions if it collides with furniture, etc. In addition, because the protruded length on the wall is long there was a problem that it damages the external appearance and debases the interior view.
<6> A conventional flush type sprinkler head has only one or two pierced holes, so that it is difficult to destroy the fuse made of fusional lead. Thus there was a problem that it takes much time for the sprinkler head to function after a fire started. For this reason, there was a proble m in dealing with the fire quickly.

<8> Thus, the present invention was contrived to solve the said problems of the conventional art. The purpose of the present invention is providing a flush type sprinkler head which lowers the protruded length of the sprinkler on the ceiling with its own lowered length.
<9> Another purpose of the present invention is providing a reliable flush type sprinkler head which functions quickly and precisely without malfunction.
<10> Another purpose of the present invention is providing a flush type sprinkler head which is economical with the low cost due to the simple constitution and prevents a fault like a leakage of the sprinkler head, etc with a tight combination.

[Technical Solution]
<12> n order to attain the said purposes, the present invention provides a flush type sprinkler head wherein from the state of sealing a body, on the occasion of a fire a water jet part which is joined with the body connected to the piping descends and emits pressurized fire extinguishing water. The flush type sprinkler comprises ; a body of which the external part forms into a flange and the internal part forms into a joining part, a water jet part of which the upper part forms into a hanging protrusion and the lower part forms into a housing part, a frame which is joined with the joining part and houses the water jet part, and of which the lower part forms into a hanging bump which has a groove for hanging a spring inside and on which the hanging
protrusion is hung when the water jet part descends, a C-spring which is hung on the groove formed in the hanging bump of the frame, a fuse box which possesses an opening part on the top, a groove for connecting the spring at the upper part, pierced holes formed symmetrically on the groove, ball bearings joined into the pierced holes, a supporting frame which is combined with the said opening part an d of which the upper part is inserted into the housing part of the water jet part and the lower external part forms into a slant used to make the supporting frame descended by the ball bearings with the compression power of the spring, a hole for screwing a bolt which is formed in the middle of the lower part, a glass bulb fuse which is installed between the lower part of the supporting frame and a hole for screwing a bolt, and a bolt which is screwed into the said hole of the fuse box so as to make the fuse of the fuse box ascend.
<13> It is the present invention wherein each housing fuse part is formed at the lower part of the said supporting frame and the top of the said bolt, then the said glass bulb fuse is installed between the supporting frame and the bolt. It is the fuse box wherein many pierced grooves are formed to make it easy for the glass bulb fuse to sense heat caused by a fire.
[Advantageous Effects]
<15> According to the present invention, the effect is not only to enhance the interior view by lowering the protruded length of the sprinkler on the ceiling with the lowered length of the sprinkler head and making the external appearance of the ceiling beautiful, but also is providing reliability for the reason that it functions quickly and precisely without malfunction from its collision with furniture, etc moved. Additionally, the merit is that the flush type sprinkler head is economical with the low cost due to the simple constitution and prevents a fault like a leakage of the sprinkler head, etc because the compressed and combined glass bulb fuse makes a tight combination.

<37> The flush type sprinkler head in accordance with the present invention constituted as above will be now described minutely referring to the accompanying drawings.

And Fig. 3 is a vertical sectional view showing the combination state of the flush type sprinkler head in accordance with the present invention.
<39> As it is shown, the flush type sprinkler head in accordance with the present invention comprises a body(10) connected to a piping(1), a water jet part of which the lower part forms into a housing part, a frame(30) which is joined with the body(10) and houses the said water jet part, a C- spring(40) which is installed in the lower part of the frame(30), a fuse box(50) which is joined to the lower part of the frame(30) and possesses the glass bulb fuse(58) and a bolt(60) which makes the glass bulb fuse(58) in the fuse box(50) ascend.
<40> The upper part of the body(10) is connected to the piping(1) and the middle part thereof forms into a flange(11) wherein a joining part(12) is formed. The inside diameter of the body(10) gets smaller as it goes from the upper part to the lower one so that it emits pressurized water.
<41> The water jet part(20) is housed in the frame(30). In ordinary times, it is joined in the state of being inserted into the flange(11) of the body(10). On the occasion of a fire, it is descended by the pressure of
extinguishing water and emits extinguishing water. The upper part of the water jet part(20) forms into a hanging protrusion(21) and the top of the lower part thereof forms into a deflector(22) with which the emitted extinguishing water collides on the occasion of a fire. The lower part of the water jet part(20), that is, the external circumference of the deflector(22) forms into many flushing passageways(25) so that extinguishing water flushes all around and extinguishes a fire. The deflector(22) of the water jet part(20) and the lower part of the body(lθ) are sealed with an O-ring(23). Additionally, the lower part of the water jet part(20) forms into a housing part(24).
<42> The upper part of the frame(30) is joined in the flange(ll) of the body(10) and the lower part of the frame(30) forms into a hanging bump(31). On the occasion of a fire the water jet part(20) descends and the hanging protrusion(21) which is formed at the upper part of the water jet part(20) is hung on the hanging bump(31), which prevents the water jet part(20) from being separated from the frame(30) and falling. A groove for hanging a spring(32) is formed in the hanging bump(31). The C-spring(40) is hung on the groove for hanging a spring(32) and thus joined with the frame(30).
<43> The spring(40) forms into C-ring. As the spring(40) widens, the fuse box(50) is hung on the groove for hanging a spring which is formed in the hanging bump(31) and connected to the frame(30). As it narrows, the fuse box(50) is separated from the frame(30). If the C-spring is used like this, the sprinkler head is lower than that of the conventional sprinkler which used a compressed spring and thus the protruded length on the ceiling gets lower. Accordingly, it enhances the interior view due to the beautiful external appearance of the ceiling.
<44> An opening part(51) is formed at the upper part of the fuse box(50). At the side of the upper part of the fuse box(50), a groove for connecting a spring(53) is formed. On the groove for connecting a spring(53), the spring(40) is joined and pierced holes(52) is formed symmetrically. And ball bearings(54) are inserted into the pierced holes(52). The opening part(51) is
joined with a supporting frame(57) of which the upper part is inserted into the housing part(24) of the water jet part(20) and the circumference surface of the lower part forms into a siant(55) so that the supporting frame(57) is descended by the ball bearings(54) receiving the tightening power of the spring(40). A hole for screwing a bolt(56) is formed in the middle of the lower part of the fuse box(50). The fuse box(50) houses the glass bulb fuse(58) which is installed between the bottom of the supporting frame(57) and the hole for screwing a bolt(56).
<45> The spring(40) is joined on the groove for connecting a spring(53). The pierced holes(52) are formed symmetrically on the groove for connecting a spring(53). And the ball bearings(54) are inserted into the pierced holes(52). The ball bearings(54) which are inserted into the pierced holes(52) are moved inside by the tightening power of the spring(40).
<46> The the supporting frame(57) is formed like a circular corn of which the lower part has the larger diameter. And the circumference surface of the lower part of the supporting frame(57) forms into a slant(55). The upper part of the supporting frame(57) forms into a platform, is inserted into the housing part(24) of the water jet part(20) and supports the water jet part(20). If the supporting frame ascends and is joined, the ball bearings(54) which touches the slant(55) of the supporting frame(57) are joined in a state of receiving elasticity as the spring(40) which touches the ball bearings(54) widens. On the contrary, when it is separated, the spring(40) narrows and pushes the ball bearings(54) inside. Thus the ball bearings(54) moves to the upper part of the supporting frame(57) along the slant(55) and makes the supporting frame(57) descends. A hole for screwing a bolt(56) is formed in the middle of the lower part of the fuse box(50) and a bolt(60) is joined to the hole for screwing a bolt(56).
<47> The upper part of the glass bulb fuse(58) is housed by the lower part of the supporting frame(57). The glass bulb fuse(58) is made by sealing the thermal expansion liquid like glycerin or an ether compound in the special glass. If the ambient temperature is raised by the heat on the occasion of a
fire, the liquid in the glass bulb fuse(58) expands and destroys the glass bulb fuse(58).
<48> It is desirable to form many pierced grooves(59) on the circumference surface of the fuse box(50) so that the glass bulb fuse(58) senses the heat and breaks easily.
<49> It is desirable to form each housing fuse part(57a,61) on the top of the bolt(60) and in the lower part of the supporting frame(57) so that the glass bulb fuse(58) is installed easily. The glass bulb fuse(58) is positioned between the bolt(60) and the supporting frame(57). Like this, the glass bulb fuse is joined to compress the supporting frame(57) upward, which makes a strong combination. Thus it provides a merit that a fault like a leakage of the sprinkler head, etc doesn't happen. If the bolt(60) is joined to a hole for screwing a bolt(56) supporting the glass bulb fuse(58), the glass bulb fuse(58) is joined moving the supporting frame(57) upward and the slant(55) of the supporting frame(57) moves upward making the ball bearings(54) move out. Thus the ball bearings(54) makes the spring(40) widen and inserted into the groove for hanging a spring(32) which is formed in the hanging bump(31) of the frame(30). Consequently, the fuse box(50) is joined to the frame(30).

<51> As it is shown, if the glass bulb fuse(58) is destroyed by the heat, the spring(40) narrows and moves along the slant(55) of the supporting frame(57), the supporting frame(57) descends and the spring(40) is separated from the groove for hanging a spring(32). Thus the fuse box(50) is separated from the frame(30). (Referring to Fig. 4) At the same time with that, the water jet part(20) descends and the hanging protrusion(21) which is formed at the upper part of the water jet part(20) is hung on the hanging bump(31) which is formed at the lower part of the frame(30). And then the fire extinguishing water puts out a fire colliding with the deflector(22) and being emitted through the many flushing passageways(25). (Referring to Fig.
