Abstract

L'invention concerne une méthode pour traiter un flux vidéo, ce flux vidéo présentant un premier débit binaire. La méthode de l'invention comprend les étapes consistant à: obtenir des informations spatiales du flux vidéo; traiter les coefficients DCT du flux vidéo pour obtenir un flux vidéo comprimé présentant un second débit binaire, selon les informations spatiales, ce second débit binaire étant inférieur au premier débit binaire. L'invention permet d'éviter la dégradation de la qualité visuelle des données vidéo.
