Abstract

The invention relates to a method for surface blasting cavities, particularly cavities in gas turbines. According to the invention, shot is accelerated with the aid of at least one vibrator, whereby this shot accelerated in the ultrasound region are directed toward surfaces of a cavity to be blasted. The vibrator is preferably positioned at a short distance, preferably at a distance in the order of magnitude of the diameter of the shot used for blasting, from the cavity to be blasted.
