Abstract

A plectrum holder suitable for use in playing a guitar or other similar stringed instrument consists of a tube sized to fit over a finger of the player's plucking hand, and means for replaceably attaching a plectrum to the tube in a position suitable for use in plucking the strings of the instrument.

PLECTRUM HOLDER
THE' INVENTION IS DESCRIBED IN THE FOLLOWING- STATEMENT,,
The Plectrum Holder is made out of PVC, the Plectrum is bolted to the holder wiyh a 3rol. small head roof bolt with a hexagon nut, the PVC is cut on an angle at 45 degres, also a slot is maybe made on the opposite side as illustrated so the Plectrum Holder can be carried on a key ring holder,
I personally use USA Nylon .73mm Jim Dunlop Plectrums, and with the Plectrum Holder i can Pick and Strum, Play Chords and Notes with extreme accuracy, and also extremely fast and. Professionally with my Electric Acoustic Guitar.
The PVC Plectrum Holder slides onto the Forefinger as shown on attached drawings, and the sharp edges were removed prior to using. The Plectrum has a flat washer placed each side to produce a secure fixture, and the bolt cut off flush to avoid sharp edges. Reducers are available to reduce the diameter of the PVC, and also various sizes in PVC pipe, to allow for smaller or larger finger sizes

Claims

The claims defining the invention are as follows,
The Plectrum Holder is a comfortable way of holding the Plectrum, because of its size reduction, it fits firmly on the Forefinger, and allows the Guitar Player a firm comfortable grip of the Plectrum, The Plectrum maybe changed easily if necessary.
