Abstract

A power surge protector (30) is mounted on a cable unit (10) associated with a computer and is electrically interposed between a power supply associated with the computer and the motherboard of the computer. The power surge protector includes circuit breakers and surge protector elements and can be releasably mounted on the cable unit.
