Abstract

The natural deterrent of insects is made of banana peel (musa cavendish sp) and distilled water, using the PVP (polyvinylpyrrolidone ) as stabilizer and methylparabene and propylparabene as preservatives. Subsequent researches showed that the main deterrent substance present in this extract is the enzyme Polyphenol oxidase (or PPO - also known as Tyrosinase) ( gene AAA - present on banana 'nanica' or musa cavendish) .

1- Introduction
[1] The invention is a natural deterrent of insects, made of banana peel (musa cavendish sp) and distilled water, using the PVP (polivinilpirrolidona ) as stabilizer and methylparabeno and propylpabeno as preservatives. Claims
[1] This natural insect deterent is an invention with innovative characteristics since is made of a vegetable enzymatic extract originated from a well known and studied plant, the banana (musa cavendish). Its action mechanism and non toxity allows its use with safety by persons of all ages even if they have any disease. A confortable protection is obtained due to its aquous formula or non-oily cream lotion.
