Abstract

The present invention relates to a movable type chemical light, and more particularly to, a movable type chemical light which keeps chum from scattering since a chum-throwing position and a selected point are the same even if the height of the chemical light is adjusted according to changes in water level as in a dam fishing, because it can be moved to a given position, inserted into a float tip, and can be fixed thereto if an external force caused by the movement is eliminated by a stopper of elastic material disposed at one side, thereby providing a great fishing result.

Description

Description MOVABLE TYPE CHEMICAL LIGHT
[1] TECHNICAL FIELD
[2] The present invention relates to a movable type chemical light, and more par¬ ticularly to, a movable type chemical light which keeps chum from scattering since a chum-throwing position and a selected point are the same even if the height of the chemical light is adjusted according to changes in water level as in a dam fishing, because it can be moved to a given position, inserted into a float tip, and can be fixed thereto if an external force caused by the movement is eliminated by a stopper of elastic material disposed at one side, thereby providing a great fishing result.
[3] BACKGROUND ART
[4] Typically, a chemical light used in fishing is often called in abbreviation 'chemi'.
The direct translation of the chemical light to Korean would be a chemical lu¬ minescence, which is the name created because it releases yellow-green light by the reaction of chemicals. The light emission principle of a chemical light is that a capillary glass tube is enclosed in an outer sheath seen outside. Chemical substances contained in the capillary glass tube include D.M.P, butanol, hydrogen peroxide, etc. These are also referred to as activators because they are activated to accelerate light emission. Moreover, chemical substances such as D.B.P, oxalyl chloride, dyes, etc. are contained in the outer sheath, which are usually referred to as oxalate. If the chemical light is grasped in hand and snapped, the capillary glass tube is broken and the chemical substances therein come out and are mixed with oxalate in the outer sheath to cause a chemical reaction, whereupon fluorescence is produced to thus give a bright light.
[5] At present, when dam fishing at the night, as shown in FIG.8, a chemical light holder 12 is disposed at a float tip 1 Ia of a float 11, a chemical light 13 is inserted into the chemical light holder 12 so as to throw a fishing rod 17. Of course, as shown in FIG.8, according to the kind of fish, a fishing needle 14 disposed on a fishing line 15 may be adjusted to be stood on the ground, or a sinker 16 fixed to the fishing line 15 disposed above the fishing needle 14 may be contacted with the ground, or the fishing needle 14 may be positioned in the middle of the water surface. At this time, a user hangs the fishing rod 17 down to such a degree at which only the chemical light 13 inserted into the chemical light rises over the water surface. The user jerks his or her fishing rod out, looking at the motion generated from the rise or fall of the light- emitting chemical light 13 rising over a water level l(A).
[6] However, if the water level l(A) is changed to a water level 2(B) as shown in
FIG.9 after a certain time since the water is released in order to control the water level of the dam, the float tip 11a on which the chemical light 13 is disposed is becomes protruded to a certain length, and it is continuously seen that the chemical light 13 moves downward as fish bites, but is not soaked into the water, thereby missing the timing of jerking.
[7] In this case, anglers who feel that the chemical light 13 is so far away from the water level 2(B) adjust a float rubber (not shown) of the float 11 so that the chemical light 13 may be contacted with the water level 2(B) as shown in FIG.10. However, in this case, the corresponding fishing needle 14 throwing position on the ground is shifted from the initial spot F to D as much as the adjusted length C of the fishing line 15 from the fishing rod 17 to the float rubber inserted into the float 11, and this causes the scattering of chum, thereby failing to get a good fishing result.
[8] Although anglers usually don't think of cutting the fishing line, even if they think of cutting the fishing line in order to make the fishing needle throwing position the same, they cannot do the work of cutting and binding the fishing line each time needed, unlike the case of adjusting the height of the float, because it is not possible to get an accurate height of the water level 2(B) of the throwing position and of the chemical light 13.
[9] On the other hand, a 'fishing float for mounting a center-penetrating chemical light' is known in Korean Utility Model Laid-Open No. 98-143. As shown in FIG. 11, it can be known that in this utility model, the center-penetrating chemical light 3 is inserted into the top insert hole of a hollow float body 2 and a fishing line 4 is passed through the center of the float body 2 and of the center-penetrating chemical light 3 for use. However, in this configuration, this fishing float is a hollow float for sea fishing in which a fishing line is made to be movable continuously, and thus cannot be used as a float for, e.g., dam fishing.
[10] DISCLOSURE OF THE INVENTION
[11] The present invention is directed to solve the aforementioned problems, and it is an object of the present invention to provide a movable type chemical light, which keeps chum from scattering since a chum-throwing position and a selected point are the same even if the height of the chemical light is adjusted according to changes in water level as in a dam fishing, by a center-penetrating stopper of elastic material fixedly disposed at a predetermined position of the inner circumferential surface of an outer sheath so as not to be movable at its position by applying an external force to a slender float tip from outside through the inner circumferential surface of the outer sheath of the center- penetrating chemical light hollowed in a shape that the center is penetrated, thereby providing a great fishing result.
[12] It is another object of the present invention to provide a movable type chemical light which prevents a stopper from falling off when inserting the chemical light having the stopper into a float tip by disposing the stopper on an enlarged diameter groove having a predetermined length in a manner that the outer circumferential surface of the stopper is mounted thereon, the enlarged diameter groove being formed on the inner circumferential surface of an outer sheath, with the diameter thereof being greater than the inner circumferential surface of the outer sheath and smaller than the outer circumferential surface of the outer sheath.
[13] It is yet another object of the present invention to provide a movable type chemical light which minimizes friction with water because the outer circumferential surface of an outer sheath is formed in an egg-like shape.
[14] To achieve the above objects, there is provided a movable type chemical light, comprising: an outer sheath of flexible material hollowed in a shape that the center is penetrated; a filler of oxalate filled in the hollowed outer sheath with a predetermined amount; a capillary glass tube held in the outer sheath together with the filler of oxalate; and an activator filled in the capillary glass tube, wherein the movable type chemical light further comprises a center-penetrating stopper of elastic material fixedly disposed at a predetermined position of the inner circumferential surface of the outer sheath so as not to be movable from its position by applying an external force to a slender insertion member from outside through the inner circumferential surface of the outer sheath hollowed in a shape that the center is penetrated.
[15] In accordance with an embodiment of the present invention, it is preferable that an enlarged diameter groove having a predetermined length is formed on the inner cir¬ cumferential surface of the outer sheath, with the diameter thereof being greater than the inner circumferential surface of the outer sheath and smaller than the outer circum¬ ferential surface of the outer sheath, and the stopper is disposed on the enlarged diameter groove in a manner that the outer circumferential surface of the stopper is mounted thereon, thereby preventing the stopper from falling off when inserting the chemical light into a float tip.
[16] In accordance with another embodiment of the present invention, it is preferable that the outer circumferential surface of an outer sheath is formed in an egg-like shape to minimize friction with water.

[27] BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
[28] Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.
[29] FIG.1 is a perspective view showing a movable type chemical light according to one embodiment of the present invention. FIG.2 is a perspective view showing a movable type chemical light according to another embodiment of the present invention. FIG.3 is a perspective view showing a movable type chemical light according to yet another embodiment of the present invention. FIG.4 is a plane view of FIG.3. FIG.5 is a cross sectional view taken along the line A-A of FIG.4. FIG.6 is a cross sectional view showing a movable type chemical light according to another embodiment of the present invention, which corresponds to FIG.5. FIG.7 is an ex¬ planatory view explaining a state of fishing using the movable type chemical light according to the embodiments of the present invention.
[30] The movable type chemical light 100 comprises an outer sheath 110 of flexible material sealed in a hollow shape; a filler 120 of oxalate filled in the sealed outer sheath with a predetermined amount; a capillary glass tube 130 having a predetermined diameter and length or a bracelet shape held in the outer sheath together with the filler of oxalate; and an activator 140 filled in the capillary glass tube, and further comprises a center-penetrating stopper 150 of elastic material fixedly disposed at a predetermined position of the inner circumferential surface 111 of the outer sheath 110 so as to be fixed at its position by applying an external force to an insertion member, introduced through the inner circumferential surface 111 of the outer sheath 110 vacuum-sealed in a hollow shape, regardless of a change in diameter to a certain extent. Here, the insertion member may be a float tip 1 Ia of a float 11 or a fishing line 15 in the present invention.
[31] Therefore, if the float tip 11a is inserted into the inner circumferential surface 151 of the stopper 150 and the external force applied to the movable type chemical light 100 is eliminated at a predetermined position, the movable type chemical light 100 is located at the position where the external force is eliminated by an elastic force of the stopper 150, and is fixed at a predetermined position of the float tip 11a without sliding. Of course, the outer sheath inner circumferential surface 111 should have a larger diameter than the float tip and the inner circumferential surface 151 of the stopper 150 should have a smaller diameter than the float tip. In addition, it is needless to say that when using a float tip 11a having a larger diameter, it should be inserted and fixed to a larger inner circumferential surface 151 of the stopper 150 whose size is set upon manufacturing. Further, it is helpful that the stopper 150 has a length and diameter as small as possible since it is heavy.
[32] Here, an enlarged diameter groove 113 having a predetermined length is formed on the inner circumferential surface 111 of the outer sheath 110, with the diameter thereof being greater than the inner circumferential surface 111 of the outer sheath and smaller than the outer circumferential surface 112 of the outer sheath, and the stopper 150 is disposed on the enlarged diameter groove 113 in a manner that the outer circum¬ ferential surface 151 of the stopper 150 is mounted thereon. Of course, the stopper 150 may be formed at both opposite ends of the enlarged diameter groove 113, and may be formed in the middle of the longitudinal direction.
[33] Accordingly, the stopper 150 is supported by the enlarged diameter groove 113 when the movable type chemical light 100 is inserted into the float tip 11a as both opposite ends of the enlarge diameter groove 113 are brought into close contact with the outer circumferential surface 151 of the stopper 150, thereby keeping the stopper 150 from being separated from the outer sheath 11.
[34] Additionally, it is possible to minimize friction with water when the outer circum¬ ferential surface 112 of the outer sheath 110 is formed in an egg-like shape, though it also may be formed in a cylinder shape. Of course, the outer circumferential surface 112 may be formed in a cylinder shape or round ball shape. Moreover, the size of the outer sheath can be adjusted according to a light emission time.
[35] On the other hand, the capillary glass tube 130 may be formed in a bar shape, preferably, formed in a round ring shape in view of the center of gravity of the movable type chemical light.
[36] Therefore, in a case where the water level is lowered as in dam fishing, the water surface and the position of the movable type chemical light 100 can be aligned only by pulling down the movable type chemical light 100, which is supposed to cause a chemical reaction by applying a pressure, from the float tip 11a, rather than pulling down the float tip 11a from the fishing line 15, thereby keeping the chum- throwing portion constant.
[37] Moreover, in the case that there is no short float when fishing at night in a fishing place with low depth of water, in the prior art, the top end of a long float is broken for use. Meanwhile in the present invention, in the case there is only a long float, the float tip of the long float is exposed much above the water surface, and then the movable type chemical light 100 is inserted thereinto and aligned with the water surface, thereby enabling fishing only with a long float even when there is no short float.
[38] Further, in case it is difficult to discriminate if the float is raised when fishing at night, if a several number of movable type chemical lights 100 are inserted into the float tip 11a at regular intervals and used, the raise of the float is clearly discriminated by the movable type chemical lights 100 as a fish bites, thereby making fishing more fun. Besides, it is easy to discriminate if a fish bites or not by using several movable type chemical lights 100 when midwater-fishing at night.
[39] That is to say, since the form of a fish bite and the rise of the float are different depending on a fishing place, a several number of movable type chemical lights 100 of the invention are inserted and can be used as chemical lights for detecting a bite or chemical lights for jerking by being adjusted up and down according to the form of a fish bite and the rise of the float, thereby making fishing more fun.
[40] According to the present invention explained above, the movable type chemical light keeps chum from scattering since a chum-throwing position and a selected point are the same even if the height of the chemical light is adjusted according to changes in water level as in a dam fishing, by a center-penetrating stopper of elastic material fixedly disposed at a predetermined position of the inner circumferential surface of an outer sheath, thereby providing a great fishing result.
[41] Furthermore, according to the present invention, the movable type chemical light prevent a stopper from falling off when inserting the chemical light having the stopper into a float tip by disposing the stopper on an enlarged diameter groove having a pre¬ determined length in a manner that the outer circumferential surface of the stopper is mounted thereon, the enlarged diameter groove being formed on the inner circum¬ ferential surface of an outer sheath, with the diameter thereof being greater than the inner circumferential surface of the outer sheath and smaller than the outer circum¬ ferential surface of the outer sheath.
[42] Furthermore, according to the present invention, the movable type chemical light minimizes friction with water because the outer circumferential surface of an outer sheath is formed in an egg-like shape.
[43] The above-described and illustrated embodiments of the present invention should not be construed as limiting the scope of the invention. The spirit and scope of the present invention are limited only by the terms of the appended claims. Moreover, various other improvements and modifications to this invention may occur to those skilled in the art, and those improvements and modifications will fall within the scope of this invention as set forth in the claims below.
