Abstract

L'invention concerne un appareil, des systèmes et des procédés destinés à des embarcations à pilotage autonome, tels que des canots de sauvetage, des navires et autres véhicules marins. Elle concerne la navigation desdites embarcations. Des embarcations de l'invention peuvent être propulsées par des sources d'énergie naturelle ou renouvelable, telle que l'énergie solaire ou éolienne. De préférence, les navires se pilotent de façon autonome vers des destinations identifiées par des systèmes de navigation embarqués ou télécommandés. Dans un aspect de l'invention, on décrit une embarcation à pilotage autonome, qui comprend un système de propulsion (104); un système de commande de gouvernail (106); un système de navigation (200); et un système d'alimentation en énergie (300). Le système de navigation (200) est adapté pour identifier une destination cible et fournir des signaux de commande au système de propulsion (104) et/ou au système de navigation (200), et éventuellement à d'autres systèmes ou dispositifs, afin d'amener l'embarcation à emprunter un itinéraire donné vers la destination cible.
