Abstract

Our hereunder mentioned invention is a lifebuoy for all categories of swimmers learning, entertaining and sports. In Sudan most swimming places are rivers which are of swift currents and occupied by dangerous creatures. Some are unclean and of very steep shores. As solutions for such problems we could succeed to invent a floating netted pool as described belows: 1. The pool consists of hollow barrels as floating bodies made of steel sheets or fiberglass, 2. A cage built of steel angles frames covered by galvanized expanded metal sheets. 3. Deck for swimmer’s rest of flat steel sheets and a fence at the back, as protection. 4. A shed all round the deck constructed in posts and round steel rods covered in plastic or a critic canvas. The pool is two options: 1. Fixed in one place tied by steel wires to the shore. 2. Mobile pool which can be moved or moving by an engine. This for purpose of touring and enjoyment. In all cases the depths of these pools can be adjusted in deferent depths according to the user’s ages, skills and purpose. The adjustments are done in stages by moving the additional cage up and down to give the required depth.

Description

Al Mutαrnαn Floating Swimming Cage
Our hereunder mentioned invention is an extremely important device as a lifebuoy for youth, children and beginners in swimming sports. It encourages all those who like to learn and entertain swimming without being afraid of any danger expected from river's and seas creatures .
Most Places in Sudan used for swimming are rivers which are unclean and of steep shores . They also occupied by dangerous animals like crocodiles, fishes , snakes and craps . some of these rivers shores are of very swift currants which drag the swimmer insid'e where they can not swim back. So they drawn. Youth and children are veiy fond of spending their holy days and eids occasions at the river shores and practice swimming .
Unfortunately a considerable number of them drawn every occasion and holyday.
As a solution for all problems of swimming dangers we thought of inventing a device that safeguard the swimmers from rivers creatures and rivers currants danger.
Cage parts: 1. floating body to carry itself weight cage structure, other components and swimmers weights.
2. The cage body: frame and cover .
3. Deck for rest and fence at the back .
4. Sheds of posts and plastic net. Floaters; Fiber glass barrels well tied together to act as one compact body, all fixation accessories are of brass, copper or galvanized steel. Cage frame structure :
Frame is built of steel angles bolted together so it can be dismantled and rebuilt at any location.
The angles should be painted in marine paint (antirust). The members sizes will be according to the cage size of standard dimension is 18x9x2m.. It can be more or less according to categories using it, The depth is also variable , starts from one meter and on and will be adjustable by overlapping vertically . when the shift of users is for children, The height will be adjusted as very shallow basin. Thus one cage can be used for all ages and skills. The Skelton cover:
Bottom can be of galvanized expanded metal or perforated chromium plated steel sheets, sides should be of galvanized expanded metal which allow for at least 80% of in and out movement of water and keep away harmful creature.
Rest deck and fence: A deck has to be furnished on top of the floating barrels to førm a platform for swimmers to have rest . The deck is to be of Un bearable Specially at summer period . A fence of or ornamented steel section is to be fixed all round the floating cage at the back side.
Shed:
A shed all over the decked area has to be built. It will consist of 2 inch 0 steel pipes posts painted in antirust paint ( marine paint). The roof is of vaulted shape constructed in steel rods and covered in plastic green net like that used for cars shed. The floating cage will be of tow options:
1. Fixed at shore which is anchored by steel wires to river bank or sea shore .
2. Mobile floating Gage: this kind is for swimming and entertainment for those who like to enjoy scenaries and see different places. This kind is for tourists and special trips group in special occasion. The mobile floating moving cage has to be of smaller size for easy movement. The floating bodies are fixed to the tow long sides. Their bases are more or less triangular to easy moving forward by a diesel 40 hp engine and rotary blades fitted at the rear to push the cage through water. Steer has to be fitted to direct it to the place where they like to go .
Lifting of the second cage :
The second cage will be lifted by steel robes at four points wound up by hard steel shaft .
The steel shafts rotating together by connection gears as shown in drawing to wind up the lifting robes . the lifting points will be distributed along the tow shapes
