Abstract

L'invention concerne un élément de fixation destiné à un implant, notamment une prothèse de la hanche, pourvu d'un élément de support sensiblement en forme de plaque d'une broche partant de l'élément de support afin de fixer l'élément de fixation dans une position dans laquelle au moins une grande partie de la broche pénètre dans un os. La broche comprend un axe longitudinal qui présente un angle en commun avec une surface principale de l'élément de support de sorte que, pendant l'utilisation, l'élément de support vient buter contre la surface sciée de l'os et l'extrémité longitudinale de la broche s'étend en formant un angle par rapport à cette surface. L'élément de support comprend, sur le côté éloigné de la broche, un élément de couplage pour une autre partie d'une prothèse tandis qu'une partie extérieure de la broche est pourvue d'un moyen de fixation permettant de cimenter l'os ou d'un agent de liaison.
