Abstract

The invention relates to a device for scrambling camera recordings and a still and video camera scrambling system. The inventive device comprises infrared diodes which are disposed behind a cinema screen and which emit light that cannot be seen by the human eye but which is recorded by video cameras being used to capture pirate images. The infrared diodes in the inventive system can be replaced by any elements that emit non-infrared light which can be recorded by cameras but which is imperceptible to the human eye. Said diodes or elements are equipped with a main power source and an alternative automatic autonomous source for use in the event of a failure in the main source.
