Abstract

This is a flexible device to connect and insert flat cable, including a set of flat cable retainer plate, a group of conductive needle or blade and a base. The flat cable retainer plate has one end fixed to the base. It has such characteristics: there is a flat gap on the flat cable orient board and there are equally several parallel guiding grooves inside the flat gap. We can insert the flat cable into the flat gap along the guiding groove and to locate the wires by the diameter of the guiding grooves. There must be at least one row of holes correspondingly with the flat gap and vertical to the flat gap axis. Conducting needle or fade is fixed to the base with one end fixed to the circuit board and the other end corresponds to the holes on the flat cable orient board. This new-type and practical technology has simple structure, steady and reliable performance. It is convenient to use for the number of the flat cable is variable. It is suitable to be used when the number of flat cable is uncertain or used as plug-in package in special environment only once for a short time.

A Flexible Flat Cable Connecting Device
TECHNOLOGICAL FIELD
This new-type and practical technology involves a device for connecting and inserting conducting wires, referring in particular a flexible device for connecting and inserting flat cable.
BACKGROUND TECHNOLOGY
Flat cable mean two or more than two conducting wires with insulating rubber paralleling sticked for one row with the same interval. It is often used for data transmission between two electronic equipment simultaneously. The characteristics of its function determine unitarity and stability of its utilizing environment, namely very much difficult to appear the phenomenon of frequently connecting and inserting, therefore the standard plug-in package for flat cable on the present market is suitable for this kind of environment. But for the special flat cable utilizing environment, the standard plug-in package is not suitable any more. The specification of standard plug-in package is regular and must be corresponding, but for the requirement of a variable number of flat cable, it is not suitable. If the flat cable are used once for short time, after used once only, they will have to be discarded. This causes the cost to rise , resources to be wasted; the Standard plug in package is easy to loose in case of not receiving external force, which causes the dependability decline.
The purpose of this practical and new-type lies in overcoming the deficiency of existing technology to offer one flexible device for connecting and inserting flat cable, which has simply structure, steady and reliable performance, variable number of flat cable, and in particular, it is easy to use.
This new-type and practical technology adopts the following scheme. It has a flat cable retainer plate, a group of conductive needle or conductive blade and a base. One end of the flat cable retainer plate is jointed on the base, with a flat gap on it. Inside the flat gap, there are several parallel guiding grooves. Flat cable can be inserted in the flat gap following direction troughs and are located along the troughs. On the flat cable orient board, there is at least one row of holes which are vertical with flat gap axis and one to one with flat gap. The conductive needle or the conductive blade are firmly fixed to the base, with one end welded and fixed to the circuit board, and the other end correspondent to the holes on the flat cable orient board.
When using this new-type and practical technology, we rotate the flat cable orient board , making it separate from conductive needle, then inset the flat cable inside along the guiding groove and press down the flat cable orient board. Thus, conductive needle or blade pricks through some wire correspondingly amongthe flat cable to connect conducting part in the wire. After using, we lift up the flat cable orient board to make the wire separate from conductive needle or the blade, then take out the flat cable.
This new-type and practical technology adopts above-mentioned structure and have successfully solved the problems with the standard flat cable plug in package under the special utilizing environment. First, any number of flat cable equal to or less than the number of guiding groove can be successfully connected and inserted into the circuit board; Second, row does not need airy part for connecting and inserting, all parts with the function of connecting and inserting are integrated with the reusable system, which helps to lower the costs and prevent resources from wasting; Third, the flat cable are vertically pricked by many conductive needles or blades, therefore before we separating the wires from the conducting needles with the flat cable orient handle, there will be no phenomenon as loosing or taking off, thus it is much more reliable. Especially for those flat cable products which are used only once for short time and in special environment in which the number of the parallels used is not certain, this can greatly reduce the utility cost and with the flexible and convenient operation, it is more reliable. From the above, this new-type and practical is simply structured, steadily performing and easy to use. The number of the flat cable are variable, and it is suitable to be used as plug in package when the number of the flat cable is uncertain or the wire is only used once for a short time in some special environment.

With respects to Picturel and 2, this new-type and practical technology include parallel retainer plate 1 , conductive needle or blade 2, base 3, one end of the parallel retainer plate 1 fixed to the base 3, on which there is a flat gap4, inside the flat gap there are several parallel guiding groove 5, parallel line 6 inserted into the flat gap4 along the guiding grooveδ, ad is located by the guiding groove, there is at least one row of holes 7 one to one with the flat gap4 and vertical to flat gap axis. The conductive needle or blade are fixed to the base3, with one end fixed to circuit boardδ, and the other end correspont to the holes 7 on the flat cable orient board.

Claims

1. A flexible device to connect and insert flat cable comprising a flat cable fixing plate, a group of conducting needles or conducting blades, and a base, wherein the flat cable fixing plate is hinged to the base, and wherein a flat gap is formed on the flat cable orienting plate, several parallel guiding grooves are equally arranged in the flat gap, the flat cable can be inserted into the flat gap along the guiding grooves and oriented in radial direction by the guiding grooves, on the flat cable orienting plate disposes at least one row of holes corresponding to the flat gap and vertical to the axis of the flat gap, and the conducting needles or conducting blades are fixed to the base with one end fixed to the circuit board and the other end corresponding to the holes on the flat cable orienting plate.
