Abstract

One embodiment concerns a lenticular image display device comprising an image sheet located between a lens plate and a back plate. The device further includes a pump for introducing air at above atmospheric pressure behind the image sheet with respect to the lens plate in order to urge, in use, the image sheet into contact with the lens plate. The air may be introduced directly between the image sheet and the back plate. Alternatively, the black plate may be incorporated into a back plate assembly, the air being introduced into the assembly. Part of the assembly may be deformable to urge the image sheet against the lens plate.
