Abstract

The invention relates to an electromagnetic actuator comprising an actuating element (7) which can be displaced by means of two electromagnets facing each other in order to selectively attract a pallet (8) which is fixed to the actuating element and extends between the electromagnets, said electromagnets comprising cores (2) defining receiving elements (6) in which the coils (3) are freely mounted and which form abutments at the end of the pallet. The coils are maintained in position in relation to the cores by an elastic means (24) which is arranged in such a way as to exert an effort on the cores, pushing the cores towards the rigid parts (50) of the actuator which define a gap between the cores.
